Good Rescue Squad Vest
I bought a few of these for my rescue squad as we need them by state law now when in roadways. I was very happy to find such a cheap priced vest, as we are a volunteer organization and money is tight. They are very bright and the reflective tape can be seen from very far away, I know I saw a member from over a quarter of a mile away with it on. The vest is break away which is a very important feature we wanted since a cop got dragged down a road a year ago with a non-breakaway vest on. We also really liked the lapel mic holder up toward the shoulder, a great feature for EMTs, but there was no holder or pocket for the radio itself, but you can't have everything in life I guess. Do note the sizes run small. I'm a normal 2X and I can't close this vest completely, I'm missing by like an inch or two. Still it provides great visibility, and I can move around in it helping patients. Again, break away, very visible, cheap price = WIN. Definitely get this product!

Great Value in a safety vest!
I'm a ham radio guy involved in emergency communications. Needed a vest to both keep in my vehicle and to use during deployments and events. For the money... this a great bang for the buck. It's a light-weight mesh material that seems extremely well made. It is a full break away... waist straps and top of shoulders are all velcroed together. There are two long waist straps (see pic) that are attached to the back panel that velcro to a nice long strip across the front. Very adjustable. What is really nice is there is a thick strap near the top of both shoulders on the front of the vest. Can clip your external radio mike to one. And clip you photo ID badges to the other. On mine there is a nice big pocket with a velcroed flap just under the mic strap on the right side (opposite side from your heart). Easily will hold a radio, but I like to keep mine on my hip. Compared to the other safety vests I've seen... for under $25... this is really a nice one. Got the 3X... but probably could have gone with a 2X. Get the winter coat size you normally wear.

Not a zipper front.
Only Velcro on the front closure. Nothing wrong with vest it’s a good quality vest. Just didn’t realize it’s not a zipper front that I was used too.
