It is roughly the same shape, to allow the baby's nose to make contact with the breast. The outer material that sticks to the mother's breast is a bit more stretchy than other brands. If you're using that shield successfully you'd probably like this at least as well if not a bit better.

What size in millimeters across the base of the nipple are the medium and large size? Without knowing, there is no way I can buy these for my clients.
