I have bought two of these now and have had a couple of them for a few years and they still work great

While getting the tank initially filled, I smelled propane after the tank was filled and connected to the fill nozzle with the valve on. After disconnecting from the fill nozzle, what looked like a small casting defect was noted in the area of the internal sealing ring. (see red arrow in picture). It was not a defect but a bleed orifice from the internal valve. Upon further investigation, the propane supplier's fill nozzle wasn't sealing correctly due to wear on their equipment. The tank works perfectly and is a great value for the money spent.
