Best thing ever. I recently suffered a trimalleolar fracture and dislocation- this has been a lifesaver. It’s soft, adjustable, well made, freezes quickly and is reversible. It’s really comfortable too. It also takes down the swelling quite a bit. Highly recommend

I recently had a lapiplasty bunion correction surgery. As part of my post-op care I needed to ice my foot as often as possible. I’m almost at 2 weeks post-op. I bought 2 of these ice packs. They are easy to use and they cool very quickly. My instructions were to apply the pack for 30 mins on and wait 30 mins to apply again. The ice pack stayed cold during the 30 mins. I used the soft side against my skin for comfort. The areas that required icing were the top of my foot and the inside of ankle which this product did cover. If I were to change anything it would be to add more cooling surface area to inside of ankle area. The plastic bags provided are durable and help protect & separate the ice packs from our other frozen goods in the freezer. The ice packs have held up after using upwards of 6 or more times a day. The Velcro straps remain effective after multiple uses and even after getting lint on them from my bedding & cats. They are especially convenient to use on the foot and maintain their position with ease. They are comfortable and will continue to be put to use when I have surgery on my other foot. If you’re having a similar surgery make sure to buy 2 of these so you always have 1 pack at the ready.

I loved how it wrapped around my ankle and foot. I fractured my ankle metatarsal bone and middle toe and needed ice for all of them. This covered everything and kept cold for over 2 hours. It froze quickly…so check it if you want it a bit more flexible. The only drawback is that it is one piece and doesn’t separate from each other. If they made it with a Velcro loop to attach, it would be perfect, especially for putting it into the freezer so it wouldn’t be as bulky, or to use only on the foot or only on the ankle.

Must have for the broken ankle trimalleor fracture and subsequent surgery warriors! Life saver for swelling and pain management! One thing I would do differently, i would get two so I could switch them out and always have a cold replacement when it warms up! Fits great with Velcro and has a suede type inside for comfort. A must have!

Fits well, and the straps allow for icing on the top of the foot. Glad they included a bag to freeze it in, seems more sanitary.

Comfortable. I like the soft lining.The coverage on my foot and ankle is good. I have problems with plantar facsiitis and my achilles tendon and product has been helpful to use in the evenings after work.

Didn't work with the soft cast my ankle was in. This is best used immediately after an injury, before casting.

I broke my ankle months ago and this ankle ice pack is a saving grace and worth every penny. It has a very cooling sensation and it is reversible so you can flip between the plush side or the plastic side (for more relief). The straps are held very tightly against the foot and the ankle. My only complaint is that the ice pack is a little bit on the heavy side so you will need to stay seated for the recommended 20 minutes because it is very hard to walk with it. It also comes in a pack of 2 so you can keep one in the freezer, one in use.

I purchased these after they were recommended in a FB group of people who’d had the same injury and surgery as me - ORIF for trimalleolar. They are just right although I do wear a thin sock underneath. The shock was a bit too much despite the lovely soft lining.

Comes out of the freezer very cold and slightly stiff. Currently using for achilles tendon pain and it seems to give good temporary relief. I tighten the straps to give a “compression” effect, which works well. The cold therapy lasts close to an hour of 20 min on, 20 min off, 20 min on. The only complaint I have, which isn’t even a problem, is that it’s too cold for the top of my foot and it hurts - but I just loosen that part off my foot and it’s fine. Thicker socks would also solve this issue. I haven’t tested walking with them on, so I can’t comment on that - but I have no need/desire to anyway as I am using it to help relieve some tendon pain.

Just had a total ankle replacement and this thing is great. Easy to use, comfortable and effective. Great piece of kit
