every woman should try these!
I'm 44 and had never heard of menstrual cups but came across them quite by accident while browsing amazon. They peaked my interest as someone who has heavy 7 day periods as an alternative to pads which are messy, smelly and expensive! or tampons, which I no longer use after I started feeling ill when using them years ago.I did some research, watched MANY MANY youtube video's, and decided to take the plunge and try them. I went with these it came with 3 in the pack, a sterilising cup, a cleaning brush and a handy storage pouch, and all for a very reasonable price.Having researched and watched many vids I knew I was in for a trial and error period (no pun intended) using these. It can take up to 3 (or more) cycles to get to be able to use cups confidently and with no probs. On my 1st cycle there was some leakage and some minor issuse, but I didn't get disheartened or give up, I went back to look for tips, of which there are loads as everybody's body is different and different thigs/techniques work better/worse than others. By day 5/6 I had found a technique that seemed to work for me and I THINK I had it nailed, but am prepared to have issues again when cycle 2 comes, but I feel VERY confident that I'll be able to fix them swiftly if they do.I have to say it's particularly nice using these at night, they can be left in for 12 hours (flow permitting) and I don't have that nervous moment as I get up in the morning as I wait to see if I'm going to have a sudden 'surge/leak' as I get up, or look at the covers for any evidence of midnight leaks! All in all, I have to say, even though I've only had one cycle I am so glad I found these and am now a mens cup convert! I urge every woman to try these..and use the internet to find tips/help that will help you find what works for YOU!

No one mentions the taking out part
I was very excited to use my menstrual cup, after all the reviews and research I had done, knowing that I would be doing my bit for the environment and having a 'cleaner' period. After some initial problems putting it in I mastered it and was pretty chuffed. Then came the pressure in my back passages I felt the need to go. I did more research. It wasnt in right or it was too big, so I followed suggestions and turned it inside out and this helped considerably. However no one really seems to mention the taking out part. Obviously you can't fold it on it's way out and you are aware that by now it has contents that you are trying to not get all over so inward letting it just pop out.Maybe I have a sensitive area or the silicone wasnt as soft as advertised but the removal was causing pain and it became very sore so the putting in part was also painful and I think because of that I wasnt spending enough time to make sure the cup was in a good position and I started getting a small amount of leakage. I eventually decided that it wasnt worth it to be sore for a week every month and gave up.This is by no means a bad review on this brand which is why I gave it a 5 star. I was very happy with the product in general. Value for money, 3 cups, a cleaning brush, a steriliser and a little bag for your cup for the price that some companies are charging for 2 cups! This was more to make women aware that the menstrual cup isnt for everyone.

Life changing
Once you figure out your best way to put it in, you won't want anything else.

Completely converted despite being sceptical after 1st time used
Absolute life changer!!! I didnt watch any videos or look into much, i just read the box and was off. Easy to use and so tidy. No leakages and its amazing to see how much one actually bleeds. Even night times is fab.... ive never overflowed or anything.I was looking for tampons for my teenage daughter and came across this. Obviously not for her but i was very interested for me. I have been wearing tampons since i was a teenager and have recently found them not so great for me for a number of reasons - which noone will care.I am just 40 with heavy periods and had no idea which size to get, so got a small although the box says i could get a large - which is working fine for me.To remove, dont forget to squeeze the actually cup to break the seal its made in side, then just pull down from the tip.... it should slide out.I do think it is impossible to use if the sink is outside the bathroom and wouldn't recommend in that situation.

Easy to use
I didn’t know whether I needed the small or large size. Per the specification I was to go for large but I wish I went for the small. This was new to me as never used a similar product before I did a little research and didn’t want to spend a fortune on the best brand as I didn’t know how I would get on with it.I really like it and pleased I purchased. I found it easy to use abut removing could be a little uncomfortable but I think it’s because I went for bigger size and I shouldn’t have done.I don’t know if I will use the whole kit as I have only needed to use 1 cup and the collapsible steriliser for cleaning. Also great to no longer use single use products

Great if you have never had a cup before brill starter cup
I’ve used a cup for over a year got these as spares for my partners house and if I need it while out, these are great but find I’m leaking more than I should and it’s not holding as much as it should before leaking. I’m changing more often that I should be as my main cup I can leave for 4-8 hours depending these are being changed every 2 because of leaking. It’s inserted correctly and has a tight seal but reluctant to keep using and thinking about getting more of my main cup as they are so much better

So so uncomfortable
I've had these products before from different brands with no problems. I brought this one thinking it was good value, I was wrong. When it came, I thought it was a bit thicker and stiffer than others I have used, but I thought I shall give it a go. Anyway, took me a couple of goes to get it in nicely, but my god!! Took Me an hour to get it out!!! And it hurt when it finally popped out, I think that it's too thick so it has no movement for pulling it out. I can say once it was in place It wasn't uncomfortable. But I won't be using it again!!
