Tial 001931 Sport MV-S External Wastegate V-banded 38mm V38 MVS 38mm SILVER

Really nice piece. It was a bit cheaper than most of the other 38mm Tial wastegates I could find, so I was naturally suspicious.However, after unboxing, it doesn’t appear used or anything weird (besides a couple very small blemishes.. and that’s probably just me being very detailed and picky).I’m actually very happy with it, it arrived nicely packaged with 6 springs, an instructional layout of how it’s put together, all packed in foam. It came with the v-band clamps and a few fittings/ plugs. I haven’t installed it yet, but I’d definitely buy it again if I had to, or for the next project. I kinda wish I got a black one, but the polished top is very nice. I love that it’s made in the 🇺🇸It also came with a cool little “Boost Projects” emblem/ sticker. I like it. I’d say go for it.

This wastegate works great! I installed the 11.6lbs spring. I needed another person to start the bolts to hold down the top part while I compressed the spring. That is the only reason I don't rate 5 stars. There should be a better way to change springs.

Beautifully made product, zero doubt about authenticity. The MVS is cute in person, smaller than I expected and very compact, good for a snug engine bay on a small car, or to leave more clearance for working around it. Looking forward to installing on my Volvo 240 wagon with a 16v swap :-)
