good to read error codes, app is easy to use , useful to check your Audi car
I'm using this device only to read and clear error codes. I'm not interested in paid features like adaptations or customization... For Audi A5 convertible OBD eleven is capable of reading convertible roof errors which is very useful and why I bought this device. Diagnostics is way more detailed compared to the handheld ODB2 reader I bought for 20 pounds. App is well designed and easy to use. I can recommend this device.

Cheap OBD plug and endless pay walls to get even simple features
Bought this a while ago to do a simple rear brake change due to electric calipers. Bought the product with the information that you wouldn't need anything further services in order to do simple service tasks which is wrong as you need to buy further plans in order to do simple service tasks and full scans of the car as 90% is hidden behind a pay wall. The plug its self is a cheap plastic plug which has no structural protection so simply having it on my keys in case of needing to scan the car on the side of the road or something has managed to break the plug after a couple of months and had only been plugged into the car 3 or 4 times. For the money it is not worth it and the cost of the plug its self is only half of the cost to use the full features would recommend looking else where for an genuine OBD reader not this gimmick that everyone for some reasons recommends.

OBD 11 Device for resetting faults or adaptations
The device is a highly technical item which generally allows the end user to interrogate and establish faults and a whole host of other functionalities. I had an issue with battery adaptation wherby my vehicle electronics were older than the stated age of the vehicle, so the menue didn't provide adaptation and allow me to drill down to battery adaptation, this gave the impression that the device was faulty but it turned out not to be the case. I have to say the support from OBD 11 has been excellent if not time consuming, and they always seem to follow up any issues you may have. One of the negatives for me is the unclear nature of what credits are required for the purpose you are using the device for but for basic testing for faults it is free saving money on dealer investigatory work. Another thing to remember is that once the device is purchased you will need to upgrade to the Pro level at circa £42.00 annual subscription and invest in some credits to perform certain tasks which for me is a form of pyramid selling! nontheless a very clever device.

God sent
Really happyThis does all the basic diagnostic I need and reset all the issues I have. Helps me check faults before getting it to the garage. Can do some basic mods with ease.I did subscribe to get the features it could be seen as expensive but I have managed to rest flats that I would have had to go to a garage for.You do need basic car knowledge but only to ensure you know what you are resetting.

Potential is there, it’s a handy device, but plagued by subscription or in app credit purchases.
The actual device is sound, it connected easy, identified my car and read all the codes (there were no issues so I hope it was reading them all haha) so with that regard I cannot fault it.My issues though is that I ordered this fully aware you need an account and credits to use the one click apps to change settings, mods etc. What isn’t as clear though, these apps are not a one time purchase, which I assumed they would be, my bad I guess. So you have to pay 10-100 credits per app, which is roughly £1.99 - £17.99 of you purchase from the store (or nearly double if I use in app purchases on my iPhone). but this is EVERY TIME YOU USE IT, and also if it doesn’t work as you expect, you have PAY AGAIN to deactivate it. There are subscriptions available with a certain amount of credits, but the unlimited ones seem to be up to £250 for a couple of years. Some examples, are light tests. Really handy to check lights on your own, press the button and they will turn on. But each and every light group (brakes, headlights, fog lights, indicators etc) are a separate purchase, and because you have to use credits every time, you need to pay again next time you want to check. You can change logos and colours on the dash and screen. But if you don’t like it, it’s 10 credits to try it, and another 10 to change it back.If items were just one time purchases, even just tied to one car this would be an easy 5 stars, but as it is, this is being returned.
