This component really should be checked every other oil change or you risk slagging your input camshaft and your high pressure fuel pump, as well as putting a bunch of metal fragments into your valvetrain. I think Audi fixed the issue in 2008, but do yourself a favor and check or have this checked every other oil change if you have a 2.0 TFSI 'BPY' engine. I bought the car new, and Audi ignored the problem. When mine failed I took control of my own repairs and kicked Audi to the curb. I replaced my intake camshaft and high pressure fuel pump, and the Audi dealer is no longer allowed to touch my car. These were once three times the price, so I was thrilled to find this great deal.

Product was machined well and fit properly.

If your ad says "not some cheap product made in China" don't sent it in a bag that says made in China, with no product label. I removed it several times, as it did not fit properly. The camshaft had no wear, but the new one was all beaten up. I am an ex Volkswagen employee, and have been in the business 24 years. I know it was installed, and torqued properly. Should have been patient, and not cheap.
