Energy Gels For Runners 2oz Packets, Running Gels with Electrolytes, Tray of 12 Count

These are my go-to "gels" for training. They aren't really gels, of course. They are straight-up liquid and they can get a bit messy if you aren't careful but no better or worse than a regular gel. These are easy to go down and don't require mouthing or chewing so if you are doing a tempo run they are a godsend because you can get them down quickly and get back to breathing. They are easy on the stomach and I've never had issues after using them. They also taste great and I don't feel the need for immediate water to get a sticky mess out of my mouth. I also like that they are 2 fluid ounces of liquid which is minimal but still a step towards fluid intake.The cons? Their carb/calorie to weight/volume ratio sucks. I will use 2-3 of these for a half marathon fun-race with moderate effort, but I don't want them for an exertion race where I need more carbs and more often. I would not use them for a marathon. An additional downside is they do not fit in the loops of a standard running belt holster. You could mayyyyybe force them but likely to crack a seam and leak everywhere.My summary is: Love them! Know what you're using them for and they're great for that. Take 2-3 in a running belt with a pouch for moderate intensity training runs up to 13 miles and you're fine. The logistics of going long or hard are just too tough.,

There’s so much people complaining about this product that is just ridiculous. This thing actually works! 👌 I’m not an athlete I’m just a regular guy who plays soccer every week. This energy drink will help you stay focus and full of energy when playing. Taste is fantastic it is not super sweet and the texture is great. Honestly there’s a lot of people saying that the taste feels like kids juice. But in fact they taste like a Gatorade. Orange and lemon flavors are so good!Don’t listen to the crying baby’s out there just try it and play like a beast. In my caseI bet this thing is super good for running as well.Peace ✌️

Perfect for someone who experiences low blood sugar. Very quick option when in a rush. Taste is good also.

This does exactly what it states..gave me the extra energy needed for me during a marathon. It helps with hydration as well.. I highly recommend this.

I have tried many products over the years to raise my blood sugar quickly when I have urgent lows. This works quickly and effectively. Within 5 minutes my glucose level rose by 12. At 10 minutes, by 20. At 15 minutes, by 30. The product description says, "liquid gel" which in my opinion is an oxymoron. It is not a gel. It is definitely a liquid. That is not necessarily a bad thing. I find some gels to be too thick. I bought the lemon-lime flavor. I sometimes wonder who these manufacturers employ as taste testers as this does not taste good at all. I did not find this product to support the "energy" claim.

I get low blood sugar every so often and keep these in my medicine cabinet. The Glukos gel works fast and brings my levels up quickly. I don't like gel-type glucose so I decided to try these and it is much better than trying to swallow down that goo. My favorite is the fruit punch. I bought the lemon-lime this past time around and it was disgusting! The taste is awful and I won't buy the lemon-lime again. The watermelon is really good as well. I recommend trying these if you need to bring your blood sugar levels up quickly. I keep some in my purse and in the glove box of my car for emergencies.

I wanted tubes of gel I could squeeze under my husband's tongue if his blood sugar got so low he could not handle it himself. (I had purchased those tubes from the drugstore before and the one time I had to use one they worked fine and were easy to use.) These are large plastic pouches of liquid that spill if not very carefully handled. They are effective in bringing the sugar level back up; just not what I want or need.

Got these for my kid for emergency use as he’s a diabetic. He enjoys the flavor of these much more than other quick glucose pouches we have tried. Easy to carry around and convenient.
