Yes! the pack i bought works well. of the 12 hour runtime i tested one and for 6 hours it was very bright and after that time it was bright/ well lit yet but faded to a slightly less bright then when 1st activated but did last for 13 hours. very pleased with the results. on another test i held one enclosed in my hand and another unit on the table that would go into a glass of icey water for a little while and out the unit held in my hand was much much brighter then unit in 1st test that was just on my desktop. both lasted 12 and 1/2 hours. Very pleased with the purchase.

They are very bright and do last for at least 12 hours. After a few hours they are not as bright as when first activated and they get dimmer over time but they would still be very visible in the dark or low light conditions.

I bought these initially for halloween decorations, but it rained on halloween and messed up my plans. So, I ended up just randomly tossing these out in the yard for kids to pick up and carry with them as it got dark. They were a big hit and it was great seeing the kids faces 'light up' (pun intended) as they picked them up and walked off to the next house. Will definitely be doing this again next year.
