I purchased this on the recommendation of a friend who has sensitive skin. Every moisturizer and especially "anti-aging" would burn my skin. It was so annoying. This has calmed down my skin and works pretty well under make-up. It has not made my skin peely which I am grateful. It is not oily at all. I do use a richer tallow moisturizer at night.

I got a sample of the face sunscreen, and I generally do not like sunscreen face creams. It became my favorite moisturizer in the time it took to use up the sample. That's when I began shopping this brand of high quality, high results products.I bought this Renewal Barrier Complex for my daily moisturizer and I am impressed and happy.It is non greasy, absorbs almost immediately, and is not too thick a base of moisture before foundation application. I have aging skin, and too much product on my face settles and accentuates fine lines and wrinkles. I need the first layer to sink in and leave my skin soft but not dewy.This lightweight but powerful cream checks all of the boxes.It really has improved my skin and my fine lines are diminished with daily use.I am ready to try the whole line.Abandon the astronomical costs of "high end designer brands" and give this skincare line a try.

I can’t believe the quality of this product I was at first very apprehensive to try it and to be honest I didn’t until 6 months ago I picked it up and started using it every day for a month straight the KEY TO THIS PRODUCT YOU HAVE TO USE IT DAILY TO SEE RESULTS AND IT TAKES A FEW WEEKS BEFORE IT HAPPENS AT LEAST THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE AT ANY RATE ONE AM I WOKE UP AND SERIOUSLY MY SKIN LOOKED SO MUCH BETTER IM ALMOST 59 AND HAVE SPENT MANY VACAS IN THE CARRIBEAN SOMETIMES TWICE A YEAR FOR YEARS AND YEARS DECADES AND DECADES SO MY SKIN HAS SEEN BETTER DAYS IF I HAD TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN I WOULD OF BEEN SMART AND USED HIGH SUNSCREEN ON MY FACE I WAS DUMB AND YOUNG AND LIVING IT UP HOW STUPID WAS I NOW I HAVE MY FACE TO SHOW FOR MY MISTAKES EVERY WRINKLE ON IT IS A TRIP TO AN ISLAND I MADE BAKING IN THE SUN WITH NO SUNSCREEN HOW STUPID AT ANY RATE THIS STUFF DOES REALLY HELP AND IM TELLING YOU IVE SPENT A TON OF $ SEARCHING FOR THE RIGHT PRODUCT TO GIVE ME HOPE BOTOX IS AN OPTION YES BUT IT IS SO DARN $ GETTING TO THE POINT WHERE ITS UNAFFORABLE FOR ME I JUST CANT DO IT ITS OUT OF MY LEAGUE SO PRODUCTS IS ALL I HAVE LEFT AND THIS GIVES ME A LIFT AND LEAST PUTS A SMILE ON FACE BECAUSE IT DOES DO SOMETHING FOR MY WRINKLES IT GIVES ME HOPE AND AT BEST IT GIVES ME A BEAUTIFUL YOUTHFUL GLOW WHAT MORE CAN YOU ASK FOR

I bought this in January and I recently rediscovered it and finished the bottle. I had really bad, tretinoin -damaged acne prone but otherwise soft skin. I used it every morning and every night, and within three days, I'd say, my skin was so much better.There is an immediate difference in your skin that you'll notice after putting it on. it made my skin plump, healthy, it aided discoloration and patchiness, and totally fixed the surface layers of skin, which had been pretty badly damaged.CONS: this lotion is expensive, and it's from amazon. If you want to splurge on this product and have great skin, then I'd suggest buying it from Bluemercury or ulta, just because you never know with Amazon sellers. I bought mine from this seller / this website, and I had no problems at all, but I wouldn't risk $58 on a product that *might* be fake. Also, I personally did not mind the smell at all, but the moment you pump it onto your hand, there is a weird fishy-ish odor that went away as soon as it was rubbed into skin. Again, I did not mind the smell at all, but after I rubbed in the lotion I insisted that my friend sniff my hand, and she was viscerally repulsed.I'm not buying this lotion again because I'm trying a different skincare line, but if it doesn't work there is a very good chance I'll find this product again.

Writing this under my fathers account:My esthetician recommended I try this after a bad allergic reaction to Clinique (can you believe it?!) I didn't know how I felt about spending $45 on a small bottle of face cream; but I'm extremely glad that I did. It's a thicker cream, and the pump allows me to control how much I use. Within 2 days of first using it; my skin was smooth, dewy-like, and extremely soft. I'll continue buying this, because I absolutely think it's worth every penny.

I'm in my late 40's and have decided to age naturally and gracefully, but if I can slow down lines and wrinkles with my lotion, why not. I've used Elta MD products for several years (AM & PM lotions, Foaming Facial Cleanser and another of their cleansers periodically). I decided to pair Barrier Renewal Complex with their toner to see if I could further improve my skin's condition and appearance. I'm a bit of a skeptic on these kinds of things normally, so I didn't go into it with high expectations. That said, I do notice a bit of improvement with visibility of lines. Also, my skin feels so soft, and has more of a natural glow to it.The only disadvantage of this lotion is that it does seem to cause more sensitivity to sun exposure (the product information warns of this). So, I have to try and remember not to apply it on mornings when I expect to be outside for a meaningful amount of time.I gave the smell 4 stars instead of 5 because I wouldn't say it smells good, though it doesn't smell bad either.
