I got this because I always wanted to learn to play the shofar. This was inexpensive for its size, so I chose it. I am very pleased. It is attractive, well finished, and NO SMELL - a problem that seems common from many reviews I read. It was also delivered sooner than promised. As far as playing it, I can get a good sound out of it. I did the day I received it. The first time I have every gotten a sound out of a shofar. Read the instructions and look at some YouTube Videos. Keep trying, and use the side of the mouth technique, unless you play the trumpet.

The item arrived quickly and was very well packaged. It was larger than we were expecting it to be for the price. The subtle stand that comes with it make it perfect for an understated display in our home. There is no odor and with a little practice, it makes a joyous sound!

Excellent- No defects. Beautiful. I can’t play. I display for what it represents. The stand is quite nice too ! I am very, very pleased with the company as well. They were true to their description of this shofar.

This is a great shofar! It was better than I expected. My other one claimed to be odorless but clearly is not. This one definitely is! The finish is very nice too! They did a great job on this. I almost don’t want to blow it and just keep it as a decoration!

The picture is Deceptive! This thing is NOWHERE near the size shown on the fire place mantel! I bought the large which starts at 17" inches, but mine is 15 1/4" inches. Scammy... And if they are doing those things, I have a hard time believing it's "Kosher." If it's "Kosher", I'm Barbara Bush.. The stand is nice (small unstained wood area on the corner) and it comes with a pseudo pleather bag which is nice. The color is good, and it sounds good, no smell, laquered. But yeah.. 17" inches it's NOT!

The first shofar was very nice but it did NOT include a stand. The quality and size of the product was spot on. The color was also quite beautiful. I would have given 5 stars if it were not the missing stand and quality issues with the replacement. The bag provided with the original item was not the advertised leather looking bag. I sent for a replacement shofar to obtain the missing stand. The second shofar had a bag and the color was very nice. However the second shofar was not odorless and the mouth piece had some nick which was not the quality I was expecting. It looked as if the label had been attempted to be removed before. The sound quality on the second shofar was far superior to the first.

Did not come with the display. Already returned. The shofar itself was nice, but the price was supposed to include the display stand and it didn't.
