We can't rate this product highly enough. After looking in our local lighting shop (very expensive quote) and one of the homeware supermarkets; I decided to look on Amazon. Not only was the price in a different league, but the reviews I read were glowing (excuse the pun).With Prime delivery next day, my 12 year old daughter and I unpacked and tested the kit. Great functioning from the start. We then set to and bedecked her room.She found by placing them at the top of the wall, about 10mm down from the ceiling, the light reflects better, bouncing off the ceiling joint and so the reflection gives more of an effect.And boy, are they groovy! Some many different colours, pulses, music beat lights or the gentle candle light option, I love too. All actioned from the remote supplied. She even sleeps with them on the dim setting, rather than her earlier nightlight.In all it took us about 1/2 hour to simply stick up. The adhesive is good and stays in place. Do remember to use an extension lead (hidden behind a curtain!), if you want to start the lights at the top of the wall. My daughter opted to start them from the base, going upwards towards the ceiling, then around. She has a big room and managed it all with some to spare.She's even managed to download the app on her phone for more joy!We are really delighted with the result. Two weeks on and they're just as good, just as sparkly.10 / 10 - I don't give that very often, but they're seriously fun.

This product arrived safe and well packaged.Inside the box is all you need to light up any area of your house (or any indoor space) and the instructions on how to do this. I've chosen to install these in my bedroom, running along the edge of the ceiling. With 20 metres of lights in this box it was the perfect size to fill a very large room.The light strips are stuck to the ceiling with the sticky strips on the back. These have a very strong grip, so stick the lights almost instantly. Once laid in place, the power lead and control box are connected to the mains - and job done!As these are 'Smart' lights they can be controlled with the included remote control, or through the Smart Life App. This App is used by the majority of Smart Devices I own, so connecting takes seconds! It's a great app that gives total control over the device, colour, brightness, patterns etc.I prefer to use my Alexa device to control these, so I have the Skill enabled to do so. A quick choice command and my bedroom is totally transformed.These lights are really bright and have an incredible range of colours too. With them positioned along the edge of the ceiling, or under a shelf, they create a light wash right down the wall. It's an amazing effect that feels incredibly expensive... yet this kit is amazing value!I highly recommend this product!

The media could not be loaded. Bought these lights as a birthday present for my boyfriend. They've far exceeded my expectations! The lights come as two 10m rolls and there is a splitter at the connection point to the power cable. This meant that we could easily have two sets of lights running in opposite directions or at two different sections of the wall.The adhesive on the back of the lights is much stronger than I expected so make sure you know where you want the lights before sticking down.The remote is large, responsive and has lots of options. The app remote is even better. Loads of colour range and brightness avaliable on the app. The lights also respond to sound, either music played from your phone when it's synced up, or through a microphone that's on the splitter box. I found it to be accurate to whatever is playing and we had a bit of fun shouting in the room to make it change colours!There is plenty of length on the power wire to reach from a low power socket all the way to the ceiling (if you have standard size ceilings).Overall I'm very pleased with the lights and already planning the next room to do. Working from home is going to be so much more fun now!

Brought this product a week ago, put them up the first day I received them and i’m very happy with it, adhesive is very strong and easy to apply where you want it, there’s a good range of colours and brightness on these lights. The remote control is a little bit hit and miss as it has to be pointing at the little box to work, so it’s better and more convenient to have the app to change the lighting colours, speeds, brightness etc, as you can be anywhere in the room to do that. Makes a lot of difference to a room. Would highly recommend.

Update... have now lost one the strips!!!! one of the strips has packed up just over a month old absolute joke.The lights overall are pretty decent for the price. What let's them down is a remote that doesn't turn them on or off and an app that fails to power them on. Have to manually unplug the power and plug it back in again to reset them. As I've already stuck them all around the room I'll put up with it just be warned this can happen so make sure the power box is easily locatable and not tucked away behind something as you will need to keep resetting them.Adjusted my rating as they messaged to say they want to resolve the problem and when there solutions didn't work they just ignored the message.

The brightness buttons on the remote do not work.Also the adhesive is a double sided adhesive strip, with one side partly coming off the lights when trying to peel it off. Managed to fix it myself and stick it back on but it’s less adhesive in that area now.Most of the colour changing modes are useless, you’re only gonna want it on the 7 colour fade or just pick a colour.The app is also a little janky, does not recognise the speed or brightness settings I have on until I change them.Otherwise these are good lights. Glow in the dark when they are not on which is a bit annoying, but the colouring is nice.The colour changing fade is a lot nicer than lights I had previously. A safe cheaper choice for 20meters.
