Excellent product. Made to exact dimensions and heat retention is excellent. They are definitely more expensive but the last pair I had lasted 10 years and only broke because I dropped one removing it from the Kamadoe. LOL

Anything by Kamado Joe is going to be a quality product, and these are no exception. In addition to serving as heat deflectors in my KJ, I use them similarly in my gas grill for baking, etc., when I need to protect the bottom of whatever I’m cooking. Some other knock-off brands are cheaper, but for my use, the Kamado Joe brand is tried and true!

I broke my heat deflector plate when cleaning my Kamado Joe. This replacement worked as expected. I just wish the price were more reasonable. Lesson learned: be careful when cleaning your grills!

They are basic ceramic plates. I feel they are damn near impossible to clean. But they work just like they should. They are slightly brittle but it’s not designed to be tossed around I suppose.

HEAT DEFLECTOR: Just like the original on my Classic ii. I had cracked one of the half moons so it is nice to get an original replacement and even have one for backup. CAST IRON HALF MOON: a little pricey but high quality. Comes with a cast iron handling stick. Very large surface area to work with. And a substantial raised edge on the circular perimeter on both sides. Great for smashburgers and other things where a solid surface is desired.

Hi, I ordered heat deflectors for my Kamando Joe BBQ (the only ones available in Au). After returning home from a vacation I expected to find them sitting at the front door fully exposed to passers by as are deliveries many by Au Post and others (just dump , press door bell & run without reading "no one home" instructions or even verifying if there is anyone home). At first I counldn't find them & thought they might have been taken but on further examination found them hidden from road view behind some shrubs - very good service. This is enough to make me order more from Amazon. Great work
