Great hot tub!
Such an excellent buy! This was easy to set up; I am a small, not strong person with no general experience of setting up anything and I did it by myself so it was ready when my children got in from school. The hardest part was the last hand pump to get the creases out and attaching the filter part. I will say I didn’t use the instructions I typed in setting up my Lay Z spa on YouTube and a nice man guided me through it! Once set up I will say it took me a few days to get my head around chemicals. I would say make sure you have a chlorine dispenser and tablets ready to go. I have since bought chlorine tablets, pool clear - algecide and testing strips. All just cheapest on Amazon. I am now on top of it. I put algecide every evening and a chlorine tablet each day (mine are big ones) As well as fishing bits out with net and cleaning filter after each use, so for us daily. Our water is crystal clear and although it sounds complex it did only take about a day or two for me to work out. We had two cloudy days and it was killing me! Size: I am so glad we paid more for the bigger size. Our children 5 and 8 (but small 5 and 8) have plenty of room to play. We have had all 4 of us in it and again kids could play while we sat. We’ve had 4 kids on a play date and that was really fun! What I can say is I considered the 2 -4 size as we have 4 in our family and I can safely say it would NOT have been anywhere near big enough. I am really glad we got this one. As we use ours everyday I read it is cheaper to keep it running all the time. We lower temperature to 30 at night and then turn it back up on morning as bubbles lower temperature. It isn’t noisy no one has said anything and our neighbours would tell us! Overall a fantastic purchase!

Happy Days!
Wow! Wow! Absolutely Love it! I’ve wanted one of these for so so so long, managed to persuade the hubby that I will have it for my birthday “lol” It all came very well packaged, so went through all parts to make sure everything was was there, which it was. Assembly of the spa pool was very quick and easy to follow with the step by step instruction booklet. All parts look to be made well as is the main body of the spa and pump/filtration unit. I like the fact that the pump for the bubble also doubled up as a pump to inflate the spa pool and it says to run the pump for about 5 mins and then finish off with the supplied hand pump to the mentioned bar, just so you don’t over inflate! Once filled up and does take a little time to do, but once full we had it all running with bubbles and filtration going, you have to expect a little noise because of all the bubbles but that’s normal, the pump screen is easy to navigate and use, also has a couple of pockets on the top for your drinks so that’s also great! It has a timer you can set to have the heater working and you can set what temperature you want it at too. When starting the bubbles you can stop them at any time, but that does have a timer which is set to 30 mins and automatically stops after 30 mins. We’ve had this up for a few months now and been in it many times night and day, we’ve not had to top it up with any air and have had no problems at all just lots of fun! Great value for money, great time for all the family anytime of the year, if your brave enough lol

Superb buy! Read this for some user tips too!
LOVE this hot tub! This is my first ever review, that’s how much I want to share how ace this is! It was an upgrade from Lay Z Spa Bali (which lasted us 5 years with one pump repairs which I did myself using YouTube videos) - it’s a bit tired but still going so going to give it to family so they can see if they want to join the hot tub clan! The Toronto is only 10cm bigger diameter footprint to the Bali (the smallest one you could buy) for twice the capacity of water inside - slightly deeper and so much more space inside thanks to thinner foam walls rather than inflatable ones. But don’t worry about the cost of heating all that ‘extra’ water as this thing is so much better insulated it holds its heat incredibly well! We added silver foil insulation (from Screwfix) to inside of foam walls (as others suggested) and between inflatable lid and top cover (1 roll of 0.75m x 8m was ideal) which was straightforward to do. Didn’t use the sticking strips so we could shift it a bit as we put it in. It was tall enough that we could fold it over the top of the foam wall and still zip it all up. You could use the 60cm width foil to save having to do this but we wanted to make sure we covered the full height of the walls. We put the tub on double floor mats (to make 2cm thick) for extra comfort but we previously just used a single 1cm thick layer on last tub which was also fine. Tip - get floor mats with holes in so rainwater drains through and doesn’t leave you with puddles. You can find thicker mats to avoid having to double up if you prefer. 50cm mats would have covered the size (2m square for a 190cm diameter footprint) but we went for 60cm ones (2.4m square) as the extra space around the tub is nicer to walk on with bare feet. Either way you need 16 mats to make a big enough square. The jets are better than the Bali but they’re still not enough to be meaningful for me (though others seem to like them I prefer the quiet without!) They are, however, useful to aerate the water (raising ph without raising alkalinity as much) and to get water off the lid (another top tip - run the jets with the lid on to get the rainwater off the top. If there’s a lot you may need to help it along by pressing down on the pump side of the lid as it gathers on the opposite side). The WiFi function to enable you to set proper timers is GREAT! As many others have said the Lay Z Spa app is hopeless. Couldn’t get it to connect despite being tech savvy and following all the trouble shooting tips. But the Bestway app works great. I have a timer for a couple of hours in the morning and again for 4 hours in the afternoon / evening and it only drops a degree or two between (which is quick to heat back up) with current 12C overnight temperatures. This means it’s pretty much good to go for lovely hot tubbing all day and evening and probably most of the night too! The sides are comfortable to lean against too (wondered if this would be less so compared to inflatable with much wider sides but it’s just as comfy). Would still be cosy with 4 adults (haven’t tried this yet!) but a lot more room for the footprint than an inflatable the same size. We were missing a lid clip on delivery but Amazon offered to either send another tub for us to take out the missing part and return the rest (the box is huge so this would have been a nightmare!) or to refund money so we could buy replacement from Lay Z Spa direct which we did. It’s not the same colour but it’s hidden away by a wall so can’t be seen and with the extra cash from the compensation we also bought the table so we’re happy with that! I’d definitely recommend the table. I read one review that said you could put drinks on the wall but the liner going over the wall top leaves it slightly rounded so that didn’t work for us. But perhaps that’s because we had the silver liner underneath folded over the top. All in all an excellent buy and best price at time of buying through Amazon was a great deal (£655). Would highly recommend it as a first tub that will hopefully last indefinitely or an upgrade from an inflatable.
