Is the cover’s material soft enough to embroider through?

No, but you could probably decorate it with something that is punched through the cover (some type of rivet or rhinestone set in).

Is the binding plastic or metal?

If you're asking about the binding around the outside cover, I believe it is some type of synthetic fabric (almost like plastic). The pages themselves are plastic sleeves, of course, and the manner in which they are attached to the book cover involves just plastic. I don't remember any metal in these little albums at all. I bought these a while ago and gave them to someone else to use so I hope I'm remembering correctly :)

if u r referring to a sleeve on the front & back cover, there is none...only the inserts which open very easily

Nice storage option

I frequently get 8 x 10 photos and switch them out. This is a great item to keep the old ones in. It holds a lot of pictures and they include the black paper background between pictures. The cover could be sturdier bit otherwise it is a nice product

Worth every penny

Bought this for some small stencils I have, and it works great. I can keep them organized and easily find the one I am looking for. I really like that it comes with backing paper so I can put 4 stencils in one sleeve instead of just two. I love the color, it is a dark blue but not so dark it looks black.
