My Ancheer AM001907 E-bike
I've had this Ancheer E-bike since July of 2020 and it's a great E-bike for the price . We always take our E-bikes on vacation w/ us because we love riding bikes through the numerous bike paths available . We've been to Cuyahoga Ohio towpath , Virginia Beach , Oshkosh Wisconsin and numerous bike paths in Western NY and yes it's coming w/ us to Charleston South Carolina soon. The bike has full throttle , pedal assist & just regular pedal if you desire. The motor is more than powerful enough to get you through steep hills or if your a bit tired to complete your journey . Removable battery helps for charging and putting on our bike rack on the truck. Front light & horn are awesome. Shifts gears easily and changing bike modes is simple. You could use it for off road trails but I tend to stay on the paved paths. No problem on the grass too . I did add a rear rack & a saddle bag to put food/beverage or a jacket in it. The bike has been very dependable and holds a charge for many, many miles . Charges up quickly too. I don't use the bike in the winter here in WNY but I do pop the battery in & run it for 5-10 minutes every month to keep the battery & motor active. You don't want to not use your Lithium battery for an extended period of time . So I run & charge it to extend the life of my battery . Recently there was a recall on my Ancheer E-bike and I contacted Ancheer via phone & email & they have been with me throughout the whole process helping me out to get the recall problem corrected. It's nice when a company like Ancheer backs their product and helps out the customer even years after purchasing the bike . In closing I would recommend Ancheer E-bikes to anyone looking for an E-bike , so much so that I just ordered another Ancheer E-bike for my wife. I'll update you on that E-bike after I receive it & get to ride it for awhile . Hope this review helps someone out there who's not sure if Ancheer is their E-bike choice because you won't be disappointed.Thank you Ancheer

Pretty good value, but you better not need support!
I've wanted to writ this for a bit, but wanted to get 100 miles in. Like lots of people, quarantine hasn't been a friend of mine. With the lack of exercise, extra food and drinks, i've managed to gain 40 lbs since lockdown. Being a big guy already, this pushed up to 300. I used to go to the gym regularly, ride when I could, but that all went to hell. Once bikes started to become available, I bought a regular mountain bike and quickly found out i'm just way too out of shape to ride. I returned it and purchased this bike. I picked this bike based on the weight limits, reviews and price.Like others have mentioned before, the bike comes mostly assembled. You only needed to complete the seat and seat mount, the front stem & handlebars and the quick release tire (more on that to come). I'm pretty handy myself, so I was able to get things done in under an hour. I took it for a quick spin and all was working. It was late in the day so I set out to have my first ride that Saturday. The family and I went to the park and I was impressed. I had about 4 miles in and everything was going great. It was relatively flat and I was cycling through low assist and no assist. It felt great to be able to ride again. I was getting ready to go off of a curb, so I picked the front tire up a bit and DISASTER. The front tire came off of the fork, the fork hit the ground and bent I went after it. Don't try to picture a guy my size taking that spill, trust me, not pleasant. Even though I had a bruised leg and ego, it could have been a lot worse.I called a bike shop near me to have them take a look at the damage. I explained what happened and they took a look at the quick release for the front tire as they felt that was the likely culprit and sure enough, it was defective, causing it to disengage when I lifted the tire. I reached out to Ancheer and 3 days later, got a return authorization, though I had to pay return shipping. Now I figured, not happy, but reasonable. It only came from Delaware (i'm in NJ), so shouldn't be that bad to be done with it. NOPE, return label was to China at a cost of $275. I reached back out to them to discuss further and got crickets back.At this point, I could spend $275.00 to ship this back and lost damn near half of what I spent, or just figure out how to fix it. I called the bike shop back and needed a new fork and a new quick release. They went to try to source a new fork, but the fork that was used on the bike was not threaded, which isn't as common, so they were having problems sourcing one. They were able to find something, but it was back ordered for 45 days. Anyone that is trying to get back into the working out / riding groove can confirm, time off is the enemy and killer of motivation. They had another potential solution, which would be to swap out the fork with a threaded one, but I would need to have the stem replaced as well. Went through it all, agreed on new parts and install. 2 weeks and $235.00 later, I got the bike back.Positives:This is where things get pretty good. I just broke 100 miles on the bike over 2.5 weeks and i'm pretty happy with it. My review may not be 100% because its on a new fork (which effects the suspension) so keep that in mind. As a big guy at around 6ft 300lbs, the bike handles really well for me. For the most part, I use low assist mode (if any) unless i'm going up a steep incline (more on that), then i'll shift to medium or high. Again, the ride is pretty smooth and handles my size well. You can feel the pedal assist kick in, but its not overbearing at all. With my size, I know I but an extra strain on the battery, so I charge after almost every ride. My longest ride has been at 12.5 miles with 800ft of elevation change and I've gotten home with 1 bar to spare. Charging is convenient as I can leave it in my garage plugged in, or if I prefer (like when I bring it to work for lunch time rides), I can pull the battery out and charge inside. From dead to full can be around 5 hours give or take.Negative:The seat that it comes with is pretty damn uncomfortable. Not just for my size, but I've had others try it because of the novelty and they all said the same. It was promptly replaced with the Giddy Up, available on Amazon. Great seat! I run into an issue that may be partially my fault though, when riding up a steep incline with the pedal assist motor running. I've done some research and can't find anything solid, but this is the time when I need the motor the most. If I am pedaling heavy or pushing with the motor, the chain has a tendency to pop off. There was a chain guard around the mail sprocket (I guess that's what it's called) but the first few times the chain popped, it snapped it, so I just removed it. The chain can be easily put back in to place, but I worry it may effect things at some point and not be so easy. The disk brakes are just OK. I had them tuned at the bike shop when they repaired the bike, but they squeak and I can tell they will wear fast. The led light that it came with can't take to rough surfaces well. While I ride mostly flat surface, there can be cobbleston, or crushed rock at times. At some point, the shaking caused the cover of the light to fall off, so the LED panel is visible and it will need to be replaced. Conclusion:Even with the issues I had early on (be very sure to test the front quick release!!!)I think overall the bike was a success. The motor is strong, it handles my weight well and with a few tweaks can be perfect. I hope that it lasts long, but only time will tell. As I mentioned before, don't expect any help from Ancheer for anything, if the event decide to answer you.
