Great seller great product
I needed sturdy bags with easy open zips and air tight, these are perfect! Have used the 6ml in the past, (much harder to find these day) and love the sturdiness of them, but these 4ml bags hold up about the same. The size of the usable space is the size listed, and doesn't include the tab. We store seeds in them, the 4*6 and 6*8 fit the seed packets perfectly. So far have kept moisture/pests out. Have only had them a short time, they are holding up to regular use so far. Only con is they are quite pricey these days, about 10x what they were only 3 yrs ago adding to the mark up on our items. I get it, everything is going up. Unfortunately to the point people are losing interest in shopping. Bitter sweet, we do need to change our society from consumers to producers. So... The seller is awesome with fast shipping. The product.... As long as the price doesn't go up, I'll definitely buy them again.

Awesome little bags
Thick & good zipper. I use these to store various bits, bolts, nuts, washers, etc. Also for preserving opened super-glues & similarly small tubes of adhesives. Lastly, I keep small bottles of oil, etc. to contain any leakage.

great bag easy open/easy close
I am so happy with these 4"x6" closable bags. I use them for my many colors of cross-stitch floss. The bag opens easily and closes securely, unlike some other flimsy bags I purchased elsewhere. These bags are just the perfect weight and size for me.

Good for dry stuff only, cause it leaks moisture and air.
I bought these so I could prep dry ingredients and use for backpacking food. I was hoping that I would be able to add water to the bags and mix my ingredients in the bags, and was hoping that the smaller ones would be good for bringing just a bit of hot sauce with me. Unfortunately I would say they are only good for dry storage, and when mixing liquids into ingredients you have to knead very carefully because with any pressure at all your liquid/batter/gravy will just squirt right out of the zipper at 90 degrees out. Still good for dry ingredients though. Takes a sharpie ok for marking water lines, making a measuring bag, etc. Zipper is easy to manipulate, bag is easy to manipulate. Once I started experimenting with recipes it turned out that the sizes I bought were all just a bit too small. Also I didn't think having a pleated bottom would be important but once I started actually using them I realized how much a pleated bottom would have helped; even with dry storage if they are very full you have to lay them down carefully to avoid spillage. As I keep learning how to cook on the trail and building recipes I suspect my next purchase will have me looking for a better zipper that won't leak when kneading water into ingredients, slightly larger sizes and a pleated bottom. The 4 mil is definitely the way to go though, I just don't trust a single layer of 2 mil ziplocks holding messy things inside my backpack. As it is with my first venture into making trail meals I think these bags are good for the purpose, but not great. A zipper that didn't squirt would be very welcome.Edit: what I do now is fold over the lip twice before kneading, and that works fine ... but if I can find a bag that doesn't need that I will be very happy.Edit: I've downgraded my review to two stars as I now realize that not only won't these hold liquids, but they also won't hold smells AND since they will also leak air out and leak air in, they probably aren't even suitable for food use at all, or anything with moisture content (such as clay). I pack some moist items (wipes !) when backpacking, and also was hoping to repackage a large pound package of jerky into these smaller bags. When I packaged up my wipes and other toiletries and went to place them in a larger bag, you could smell the wipes plenty strong. I have no confidence that my wipes will arrive at the trailhead without being dried out, nor the jerky. I also don't believe that seasonings and freeze dried foods would fare well in these. Even with the 4 mil poly scents leak right through the leaks - not a big deal for my seasonings, but I don't want everything smelling like wipes. I'm also no confident that they will act as a decent backup for my bottles when in flight; if the bottles leak I could see these slowly dripping out as well. 2 stars because the 4 mil is still nice, and the sizes are useful. If it were 2 mil this would be a 1 star for sure.I have a lot of really inexpensive reasealable bags from different products I buy - like earplugs for example - I tested these, and none of them leaked like these. I consider it a performance issue with the Plymor. Also, you can actually blow the bags up from the leaks - just put your mouth over the edge of the zipper where it's seamed and blow - the bag will puff up.if you're just using them as a sorting and organizing thing, like for beads, they're perfectly fine. Even electronics however beware that these are not an environmentally tight seal; it may be alright for housing components in a controlled environment but I wouldn't rely on them for maintaining components in a harsh environment (ie the garage).Basically, the bag needs to do two things: hold stuff, and seal. It holds stuff. It doesn't seal. It's a no-go.Bottom line: If you want to use these for dried non-organic materials that are not environment sensitive like plastic beads, jewelry, guitar picks, etc, go for it. If you want them for anything with a moisture content or moisture sensitivity then caveat emptor.
