These jars are great, I can't recommend them highly enough. I'm actually on my way to get a few more now, but thought I'd stop in to give some credit where it's due.The lids are child resistant, but easy for adults to use. Jars themselves are very durable -- I've dropped them from about chest height onto the hard wood without a scratch. The frosted and tinted glass does an excellent job of protecting my product from the sun and keeping it fresh. Each jar in the set comes with three color coded bands (red, green, purple) for easy labeling and identification. Additionally, there are a set of black sticker labels that can be attached to each jar, with an accompanying white marker that can be used to write a more specific label. Personally, I found that I haven't used this feature as much, but it's nice to have it. The marker is (I think) dry erase, so it's really easy to wipe it off the label when you're handling the jars, especially with the child proof lids. Ultimately, I found the colored band system to be simpler and easier to use, but that's just my preference.In all, this is a GREAT value for the money -- most shops will charge at least $20 for ONE similar container. $20 for THREE? It's a no-brainer.

Holds in the smell and keeps it fresh

Nice looking but be aware that the lids are very, very poorly made. Out of the 3 I have 2 of them with lids that just spin and I can’t get access to the product inside. We noticed the cheapness of the lids before filling but never thought when closed we can’t open them. All they do is turn and turn not opening and when pressing down and twisting they lock up totally. One jar lid works fine. I definitely do not recommend this product..so disappointed and wasting over $40.00 of products locked inside plus the cost of the jars themselves!!!UPDATEThe company was very responsive and quick to handle this in a wonderful way. I realize sometimes there are defective products but that doesn’t represent the whole. I am giving them the four stars because I do believe they care even to the highest quality glass anyone can get.

I love these and will order more.Pros:- premium feeling dark frosted glass jars.- comes with rubber rings for sorting and organizing.- comes with labels and a chalk style pen to label the goods.- somewhat contains smell.- child safety lids work well enough. My 2 year old could not get lid off. Was first test for me as this is a must.- value for money is good considering the quality of item.Cons:- nothing particular comes to mind.Verdict: I will buy these again and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of quality storage jars in this size.

The lids spin and spin and cannot be opened, unfortunately I have already put my dry herbs inside and I do not see a solution, the design is very good but they all came to me defective.
