Nexillumi 100ft Waterproof LED Strip Lights with Remote, SMD 5050 Color Changing Music Sync App Control LED Lights for Bedroom, Living Room, Dorms, Room Decor(Strip Lights 50ft x 2)

I now have three sets of these for lighting up the house for Halloween and Christmas. (Note the picture also shows a couple accent led floodlights) I originally bought these from nexillumi a few years ago for the exterior of my house under the eaves and they are working great. Good color and brightness options. I cleaned the surface to apply with just some warm water. I did this out of caution because I want it to stock to my house not the dirt on it. They have adhered very well with no issues for a few years already. I noticed some issues with trying to attach multiple lengths (~150ft on one port) each adapter/controller has two ports. The lights dim a little near the end at that length, so I recommend planning out your starting point so the outlet is in the middle with a port each direction. Probably no more than 100ft any one direction. I've purchased two more 100ft packs since and added the entire house (2 stories). I also purchased a separate pack which had extension cords and adapters from a different company which allowed me to cut and extend to the other side of my chimney. I'd keep that as minimal as possible but it can be done successfully. It can be finicky to get the wire contacts placed exactly right. There was only one small issue with the last package of lights i bought with the built in timer. I didn't reach out for almost a year as that is the only controller that had issues with timing not consistent. The company was very friendly and offered to send a full replacement set rather than just the controller i requested and it arrived in less than a week. Very wonderful customer support. I will say only that having bought these 3 different times, each time the designated app changed which is a little annoying. If I were to do it over I would buy enough to cover the whole house in the beginning and have it all on one app, but the company said they are looking into capability to change the app as well. With everything said 9.9 / 10 and for the good prices, I'll round up

The media could not be loaded. These LED lights work really well and add a great style as accent lighting to a room. With the Pandemic we haven't been able to go to the Movie Theater in such a long time so we decided to make our family room a theater. Using the NEXillumi LED lights as theater lighting under our sectional gave us the theater feeling instantly. We change the color of the lights depending on the type of movie we're watching. Red for Action, Blue for Drama, Purple for Romance, and Green for Comedy. Having the ability to use the app to control the lights remotely makes it so easy and there is one less remote to look for.Speaking of the remote. It has all the capabilities of the app but my remote failed after a few uses. I could have called for a replacement because of the 365 day warranty, but I really had no use for another remote so it wasn't an issue for me.The Pros and Cons:Pros: Plenty of mounting hardware to chose from. iPhone app that works great 70 feet of lighting. Very bright and rich colors. Great value for the price.Cons: Remote fail after a few uses (again not a problem for me)That's right....only one Con. I've haven't had much luck with lighting in this price range so my expectations were low. NEXillumi proved me wrong with a product that works great and once installed add a wonderful dimension to any room or office. I have no problem recommending you give these a try.

Updated review, Dec 2023Bought these Nov 2022 for permanent outdoor holiday lights on my grandparents house. Installed ~200ft around the perimeter of the eaves, at the top edge under the overhang where they are well protected from weather, even though they are waterproof. Put up on a nice 50+ degree day, installation was quick and easy.Less than a month later, half the lights went out on the east side of the house, found a defect at one of the non-cuttable soldering points. Removed a small 12" section and spliced a replacement, only to find that there were two more sections that also failed.By new years day, the other half of the lights on the west side were out. Had to splice in two places to fix.One year later (2023), every 6ft on the west side of the house required a patch, each splice only fixed about a 6-7ft section, then there was another separation/break in the soldering connections.They may be waterproof, but are not designed well enough for a winter in lower Michigan. Am going to have to likely replace the entire installation next year with another brand.Original review, Dec 2022:Overall, I really liked this set. Adheres well; thick silicone overlay for waterproofing; quick and easy installation on a 50° fall day in Nov.2 wks later we had a subfreezing storm with high winds. Above one window the lights stopped working mid-string. The soldered connection (the only section you can't cut) broke in two separate places on two separate strings.Because we bought 200ft to install and used 198ft; I had to order another box to fix this section. Ordered shorter length since it was just to be for repairs and the 50ft box sent was not the same as the 100ft (no RGB, not cuttable, diff distance between nodules). Ordered another 100ft box; repaired the first section only to find that a second break happened on the next string section. I know I was careful during install to not kink or fold the strip; so I definitely recommend *not* installing these in winter.Side note: because we were powering 200ft (100 each direction from the power module) I upgraded to a more powerful power supply and led transmitter module, as the power cable that comes with the set is not strong enough to light up 100ft in sequence without significant power loss tiwards the end.

The media could not be loaded. I really like how these lights have held up so far. I installed them in warm weather for fall/halloween. Very adhesive, hoping they last through winter. They look beautiful! I am going to order more. We get a lot of compliments and I like the color variations.I like the phone app and how easy it is to turn off from far away. The remote control is a little confusing, but I like the white light option when not in the mood for colors. Great product!

These look amazing and when a switch didn't work we sent photo and a replacement was sent straight away

purchased a 100' 3 rolls came put them up and 1/2 the lights went out after 3 months and would not come back on.

Love them and they were pretty easy for my husband to put up. Two person job when there’s snow on the ground to help keep them dry. Working great so far. Been up for a few weeks. We did use a heat gun to warm the eves trough since it was -5 Celsius that day.
