Mod PodgeWaterbase Sealer, Glue and Finish for use Outdoors (16-Ounces), , White

I purchased this to protect a painting on a bourbon barrel lid and it worked just as it should. It arrived in tact with no issues and was easy to apply. It gave the lids a nice shiny surface and the product went a long way. Would order again for projects.

This is so awesome, I had no idea I could use Mod Podge outdoors and keep my crafts waterproof! This was a great buy and seals really well, and so far it's durable plus so simple to apply. We're trying to spend more time outdoors and I wanted to make some cute coasters to keep on the patio but I was worried they would peel due to moisture. I haven't had any issues and you know Mod Podge is the easiest thing to use in crafting. I will definitely be buying again and again - highly recommend!

I used this on a cheap Dollar General sign (under porch roof) and it’s kept it looking nice.

For many years I've been decoupaging painted cedar windowboxes, which works pretty well. I accept that I need to reapply the artwork about every 2-3 years (and rebuild the boxes about every 5-6 years). I've tried different combinations of standard decoupage medium, varnishes and so forth to get better durability.For the last few seasons I've been using a different brand of outdoor decoupage medium with UV protection, and found that it wasn't available here when I ran out during this season's reapplications and needed more. So I got the ModPodge Outdoor medium instead, and it is considerably thicker than the other product, to the point that I could not spread it evenly, much less thinly as is recommended. I had a thick haze on one piece (unfortunately on the darkest print) last night that I could not spread out no matter how I tried, and hoped it would be clear by morning. Sadly it's still there this morning. All the FAQs say not to thin these mediums with water, so I don't really know what I could have done differently. I guess I'll just scoop some out of the container and try thinning it with water anyway and see if it performs any better.

Works

Worked wonderfully for the craft I intended. I used this to apply fabric to shoes for my wedding. Everything adhered and dried well, though it stayed a little tacky after drying even. Still did a great job. The shoes are not everyday-wear shoes so I have no idea how well it would work on something that is worn daily.

We had a lot of rain but so far our painted wooden PEACE sign has faired well using this after we added glitter.

Worked wonders for my painted rocks. I sealed them after the paint had dried for 2 days so as to ensure the paint did not run. I applied 2 coats of mod podge to give it a durable coating. They were beautiful, I only wish I had taken pics! I went to check on the rocks I placed around town, and not one was left. I sure hope I have started a trend in my little town of population... less than 3000?
