The Seiko5 product line was designed after WWII for the young active professional crowd to be a classic, dependable, rugged, mechanical watch, for about $100, with the “5” ultimately standing for the 5 features: automatic winding, day and date display, decent water resistance, crown at 4 o'clock, metal case. (The “5” stood for 5 similar but slightly different features in the previous generation of the product line)The SNXF05K1 is a classically styled dress watch with all the benefits of being a member of the Seiko5 product line generation with the 7s26C which was produced from about 2011 to about 2018.The dial has a unique delicate line pattern similar to the pattern on graph paper that I find particularly attractive and unique; striking a balance between having a little flair without being even remotely tacky, but somehow delivering a demure look that seems to be perpetually contemporary. I find it much more appealing than any of the subsequent, post 2019 generation, overpriced Seiko5 watches.One of my favorites.

Like nearly all of Seiko's affordable offerings, this watch wears much more beautifully than the pictures allow. Keeps excellent time, slender, glints in the light and gives off the vibe and quality of a watch 10x the price. Why go down a dark alley to buy a fake Rolex when you can be proud of a brand that does just as well as the real thing for a tiny fraction of the cost?

Beautiful gorgeous Seiko 5 Automatic 7S26 movement been wanting one of these since the 80s finally got one and it was worth the money

This watch looks real good and the size is perfect if you are not into the contemporary oversized. Time is good for almost 48 hours without being worn.
