Great dust pan for garage

I had a metal dust pan when I first got married. That was 40 years ago. It died. Was I shocked to discover that you can not purchase a metal dust pan in a store. Not even the box stores. They have them but they are for industry not home. The only dust pans that exist on the street for a home are those flimsy plastic ones that half the dust sweeps underneath. There is no comparison.Metal is the best. Has been for me for 40 years and still is. Even my cleaning girl was thrilled to see I had found a replacement.

There is no rubber edge. One might assume such since so many have that. The paint on the edge is lumpy and I will probably sand it. An unnecessary bother, thus the 4 star. It is heavy duty indeed.

It's a dustpan and it does what a dustpan is supposed to do. The joint where the handle meets the dustpan is quite thin, so it'll bend if the weight in the dustpan is too heavy. It happened to me and I just bent it back. I can imagine it just breaking off though if I do it on a more frequent basis.

A good basic dust pan in the stores all I could find was plastic that does not hold up. There is nothing like a good heavy duty dust pan.

Theses are good, large durable dust pans, quite a bit cheaper than others I've seen, and unavailable at many of the big box stores.

This is a nice sturdy dustpan, easy to handle as it's not as big as one I've had before. Lasts longer than the plastic one and works better for sweeping things into it. Would definitely buy again!

The lip bends too easily, it doesn't stay a flat surface for long.
