GREAT DRILL, GREAT PRICE
Great drill for the price. The brushless motor sounds weird in comparison to non brushless drills, but that is normal for that motor type. Power is exceptional. The hand grip chuck works really well and grips bits securely and quickly. I haven't used it extensively yet as I just got it. I bought it to replace a Ridgid non-brushless I had purchased 4 years ago. This one is already out performing that one. I am a DIY home owner and I am tough on my tools. I am sure this drill will hold up.I couldn't get Ridgid warranty because its not a kit. Bought 4 year option from amazon instead.

Great
Great tool very good price but no factory warranty. That’s a bummer.Nevertheless works good and should last many years. No factory warranty because Amazon is not a recognized rigid dealer.I’m still glad that I got a good deal on this item.

Great power in a light weight system. Highly recommend
Amazing hammer drill. I was using a off brand unit. It was very heavy. Actually contributed to a neck injury and torn rotator cuff injury that left me in pain for a month, unable to work. I purchased this unit for its high power, light weight ease of use. Ridgid brand tools are the best investment for me. I am very happy. Wish I would have made the purchase long ago

not bad
used it to drill into concrete when framing walls. by the time I got to the 6th anchor it was getting pretty damn hot. still did its job and not a bad drill, just didn't think the work load matched how hot it should have gotten.

Wrong picture/description
I've used every kind of tool as a seasoned contractor. The one that last and tolerates our rough jobs is rigid, you cannot beat them, their long lasting battery, high torque and multiple use make them our choice for tools. I will say one negative about this one in particular, the picture shows on the top that there are three speeds, that's why we ordered these. There are not three speeds, just 1&2 as always. Not sure why the picture is wrong but it is.

Excellent for the price
I had a Ridgid Combo pack a long time ago which included a drill, saw saw, circular saw , and flashlight . Plus 2 batteries and charger.I had to send the drill out to fix 2 two times.where as everything else worked find till this day. This new drill is an improvement. I’m very happy with it. I’m a handyman and I do a lot of odd jobs.I also purchased a combo pack dual charger with 2 batteries a 2hr and a 4hr 18v . The batteries don’t last the amount of time that it’s supposed to.Overall I’m happy with my drill.

This hammer drill is brushless and does a great job in all three modes (hammer
I got this bear tool because I have numerous batteries and chargers already (thanks to Ridgid for making all batteries fit all tools). This hammer drill is brushless and does a great job in all three modes (hammer, driller, driver). Brushless makes it more powerful and the battery lasts longer.

Longevity
This is my 3rd Ridgid drill and they have lasted 3-4 years without problems. I use this drill about 3 days a week and normally run thru 2 batteries in a day. Batteries charge quickly and I have yet to replace any of the 4 batteries I have purchased. Life time guarantee on batteries.
