Didn't even have to program it
It worked perfectly with my Onkyo receiver. Right out of the package it connected straight to what I needed.

Doesn’t match original exactly
Doesn’t have all the same functions as our original remote but otherwise works right out of the package.

Worked straight out of box
Most common buttons used on original remote - volume & mute - failed after years of use. Happy to find a duplicate replacement. Only problem was the many weeks in transit to finally get here.

Perfect control of Onkyo TX-NR646
The volume control button on our original Onkyo remote stopped working. I inserted batteries in this, and it immediately worked as a full replacement for the original. I gather that it's inexpensive because it can't also be used to control other non-Onkyo-receiver devices ... but that was irrelevant for us.

Not an Onkyo remote
This remote may look like an Onkyo remote, but it's not one. It does not have the same features. It does not allow you to program your TV or other devices on it. When I do an image search online, it comes up as another brand. This was a waste of money.
