I have been a customer for over 20 years. The fruitcake has consistently been of the highest quality. It is always moist, dense, packed with quality fruit and nuts (pecans/walnuts), and having a rich brandy flavor. It is definitely worth the premium price.

Expensive but much better than the so-called number one fruitcake, Claxton. Fruits are better, lots of nuts and flavor. Overall quality is better on ingredients and taste!

The fruitcake was dry, salty tasting and very disappointing on Christmas Day. I'm extremely disappointed with the Trappist Abby's product, this year pricey fruitcake.

Well, the fruitcake is delicious for sure. However, I should have paid more attention to the size. I should have known that 1lb of dense fruitcake would be tiny - thats on me. I just dont feel like a cake the size of a rubicks cube is worth this price. Again, it is a fantastic fruit cake though.

This is TINY!!! Just a heads up that the 1# fruitcake is only a 3” cube. Pro- the best fruitcake that you can buy. I was going to make my own again this year, but it was going to cost me $50+ and make fat more than we need. This is the next best thing. If it makes my hubby happy for Christmas, it’s well worth it.

Really freaking good. Moist and no boozy aftertaste or effect. Would buy again.

I am a rare person that happens to like fruitcake. This year I decided to try a different brand. I won't ding these people because taste is so subjective. It wasn't for me. It has plenty of fruit and nuts but the color and texture for me were off putting. The color is brown. No distinguishing what is in this cake. I'm used to being able to see the different colors of fruit. The texture was more like cheese than cake. Indeed I'm not sure there is any cake in this. The taste while fruity and nutty had an underlying flavor that was bitter on my palette. Indeed this gave me instant heartburn and an aftertaste that was hard to get rid of.
