Love it! It’s very high quality and no little hiding spots for crickets! I had a large piece of driftwood originally so I thought my baby was eating all her crickets! Nope! They hid in the driftwood and GREW! I needed a better solution and this was it! It’s a lot larger than I was expecting and I’m very happy. It fits perfect and is easy to clean.

I’m very happy with this product. I’ve been shopping for months for an attractive and affordable hiding place for my shubunkin and goldfish after losing several to raccoons last winter. This looks pretty and natural, has no sharp edges, and was packaged beautifully as well. It’s big enough for all three of my large-ish goldfish. I haven’t noticed if they are using it or not, but it looks just right. (By the way, this is not my only protective measure. I also have some floating plastic hexagons that have so far been a sufficient deterrent. But the winter, when the fish go torpid, will be the true measure of success.)

This is made out of some sort of resin, which I assume is safe for my aquarium. The color is great (looks pretty authentic) and the size is exactly what I wanted for my large Pleco. I feel like this is good value for the money. I can't wait to see if Joaquin the Pleco likes it!!!

I purchased this as a hide for my eleven inch common pleco. At the time of purchase, Amazon sells two sizes, large and medium. The large is a good size for what I needed, but I bought both to compare. The medium is actually pretty small compared to the large (photo attached). I think these look very good and blend well with my aquarium setup which includes driftwood and plants. My main complaint with the large is that the entrance on one side is unnecessarily obstructed for a fish as large as mine. I ended up using a coping saw to remove the piece that blocks part of the entrance by two or three square inches, thereby making both sides open nearly as wide as the interior diameter of the log without any change to the exterior. My minor complaint about these is that despite the coloring being excellent when new, the material itself is cream color so that if the log gets handled much, the coloring wears off along the simulated wood ridges leaving the ridges of the log texture turning cream color the more it's used. Better would be if the material itself was brown.

The perfect hideaway for my pleco (fish). My pleco is around 10 inches long , so the other hideaway was to small for him or her. Looks like a real log. Plenty of room for him or her to move around in.

I took a chance on this for my ball python and im so glad i did! Its her new favorite piece in her enclosure. She curls herself up inside and feels so secure. I highly recommend for your ball pythons! JFC, shes 38-40 inches (3ft+) and she moves through and curls up inside with ease. If you’re looking to get something that your snake will love, you wont regret this purchase!

Absolutely beautiful! No, I did not hang it on my wall, but I put it into my freshwater aquarium and it look AMAZING!! Have only had one day and have had multiple complements.

This hide is exactly as described. It is appropriately heavy, so I don't think my snake will struggle with lifting it up on accident. Seems well made and appropriate for an adult ball python, and I might get another for my adult beaded dragon.

Good size for loaches, fish dont care for it which is a good thing. My fish are bullies to my loaches. Looks nice and provides a nice little hiding spot.

Good quality and meet my expectations

Was worried about how large this log hide would end up being, even though dimensions are noted. Turned out to be a really decent size and my python crawls through with ease and looks great.
