Those that suggest having a large receptacle to unbale the whole bag are spot on, though if you want a really good work out it is possible to grab handfuls. They hay is good with a great mix of plant life, buns love it and after a few months we’ve barely used an eighth of the bag (even though it gets devoured faster than any hay they’ve had before). As Amazon asks to review scent, it smells and looks like real outdoor hay, rather than the processed green stuff you get in supermarkets (I wonder whether other suppliers dye their hay for the aesthetic?) Will buy again (though it could be quite some time before we need to) and in the meantime try and figure out some way of completely opening the bag and storing it in a looser form.

The hay arrived well packaged with no rips in the packaging, once opened it looked green and smells fresh, my rabbits and guinea pigs started to eat it straight away, even the fussy ones, it is also good for bedding and feels soft, in my opinion it is good value and it is lasting a long time.

Amazing value for money, smells fresh, bunnies love it. It is hard to get it out but I just cut the whole package with a knife and put the hay in a massive cartoon box instead.

Beautiful slightly green and just the right moisture hay.. smelled sweet and fresh… but the best part was my horse loved it! She turns her nose up at the other hay she had lol. Brilliant I’ll buy again! Hope it stays the same high quality :)

Can’t fault the speedy despatched and delivery although the delivery details are incorrect since my son Simon accepted it, not Mark, no Mark here or in our street! Anyway, good size pack but it’s very difficult to separate the hay, it’s so tightly packed.

Took over a week to turn up very poor quality more like bad straw going to be hard to get out of bag . Made mistake of buying this when I couldn’t get another suppliers hay ( out of stock the week I ordered this ) took so long to come I had to order elsewhere as had no hay at all . Brought this one years ago and it was okay not best but this is worse .

Lovely and fresh. Rio for getting the hay out. Do not open at the top! Cut along the side and it’s so much easier to get out as it’s very tightly packed.
