Easy to make and cheap.
This is a cheap and easy to make kit, so this would be recommended for beginners. The spear is definitely cool, and the overall design is too. However, my only problem is that the colors feel flat, even in comparison to other models. That might just be me. The model can easily stand by itself, which is really nice so you won't need to prop it up on a stand or have it lean on the wall or something else unless you're going for an action shot.

Must buy for first time Gunpla builders.
One of my favorite gundams in the IBO series, it's very easy to assemble, definitely a beginner's kit. Great detail and a great addition to anyones growing Gunpla collection.

Personally, I'm a fan of the Kimaris Gundam. I just love the head design and the big shoulders and slim waist. I put a flat matte finish and panel line, and it looks great. The joints are study. I brought 2 of this and 1 Kimaris Vidar hoping to make 3 of them look like a team..and doing some custom paint or symbol to those 3. Here's my POW.Pros: study joints, easy to build, shipped fast, cool head, Design is good.Cons: Bad shoulder to arm joint, pops off sometimes. Shoulder to torso ball joint is limited movements because of bulky shoulder armor, Will fall off if you try to make it too articulate. Bad articulation.

Simple but great; good for people just starting.
Fun and simple kit to assemble. If you liked the series and are new to Gunpla this is a good starting point for you.

The Kimaris is a great design and Bluefin has been a great source for my Gundam needs

Get this, not Trooper
This kit is maybe my favorite to look at. He's dynamic and fun to pose, and his huge lance really makes him interesting. My kit has a few problems, including a loose arm, waist, and hips. Don't let this be adeterrant, as this could simply be my kit and not a universal problem.
