I love this little skull cap. It fits really well under my cycling helmet. It is a little big. The selling point for me was the ability to wear my glasses while riding and keeping my head and ears warm. It is perfect for that.

Nice skull cap. Keeps my ears warm and fits nicely under a full face helmet. Works well but the glass slits can be a pain to fit your glasses through when your helmet is on your head.

Does what it's supposed to do. I need this when the temps get into the low 50's and mid 40's. Anything higher and your head gets too warm. The slits that allow you to wear glasses without the parachute effect really help keep your ears warm. I am quite happy with this purchase and if it ever wears out I would buy the same thing again.

Winter wind proof insulation for bicycling when temperatures are below 50 degrees. Very good fit, keeps my ears warm and reduces wind noise. Doesn't interfere with my bicycle helmet. Easy to machine wash and dries quickly.

I have a bunch of these caps. I use them cycling. This is the lightest one I have, I've been using it when the temp is in the 50s, or high 40s. I used it today when it was in the mid 40s, and it wasn't enough. Of course, this depends a lot on you, how hard you exercise, and how tolerant you are of the cold. Don't get me wrong, I like this cap, it's light and cheap and comfy. But I have others, and I like some of them more. I've had most of them for 10-20 years, I don't know if any of them are still made; or are the same. In any case, with the medium thick beanies, I have to take the pads out of my helmet, the one I have is ok into the 40s. I have a thick beanie that I used with a helmet I got for cold weather riding. It's just too big to go under a typical snug helmet. I needed a size larger. The big thing is the ears. This one isn't very good at blocking genuinely cold air. My medium thick beanie has a problem with that, as well. Of course, you need to remember that, as a cyclist, I get more wind, more of the time, than most.

My ears are now warm on predawn bike rides. It fits well under a ball cap and/or bike helmet. The fit is snug on my large head but it is extremely soft and comfortable. It is a great addition to my cold weather gear.

This skull cap is so useful for cycling, running, and cold-weather use because it's thin enough to fit under a bike helmet or secondary hat. I often wear it under a baseball cap. The ear coverage is the best part— it blocks wind noise around ears and earbuds when I'm running ,and adds so much wind protection on a bike. I rarely use the eyeglass slots, but they work fine as well.
