Used these for regular floor drains. Worth the extra work for install but makes the finished product look much better. Great value for the money!

This shower drain is absolutely perfect. It has a little cup with holes in it underneath the rectangular tile insert which catches all the hair so you will never have a clogged pipe again! It is easy to lift up the tile insert, take out the cup and empty it. Plus the tiles inside the insert make for a more seamless looking shower floor. I have now bought it for two bathroom remodels!

The media could not be loaded. Aesthetically pleasing, but it is a little difficult to get the lid off without the tool and clean out the drain. The strain does clog easily because inside of it the basket has smaller holes, so it does trap the hair better than a typical commercial drain so you must clean it regularly or it will clog

Updated 3/13/25: after using for 30 days, it does not drain at all in both showers. We have to remove the plate to get the water to drain out. Have to spend more money for the grate cover. Waste of money.Original post: Looks gorgeous in our new showers!
