Excellent!!
As an avid embroidery enthusiast, I recently tried Superpunch's Wash-Away Water Soluble Stabilizer and was thoroughly impressed with its performance. The 9 inch x 25 yard roll was easy to handle and provided excellent stability to my embroidery projects, preventing any puckering or distortion. What really sets this stabilizer apart, however, is its ability to completely dissolve in water, leaving no residue behind. I was amazed at how effortless it was to remove, making it perfect for delicate fabrics and intricate designs. Overall, I highly recommend Superpunch's Wash-Away Water Soluble Stabilizer for any embroidery project requiring a stable and reliable foundation.

This stuff is expensive - and I wouldn't use it for FSL
but it's fantastic for putting on top of washable/prewashed silk or velvet. it shreds from needle punctures very quickly so don't use it for fsl, pelon is pretty much king in that department.wash is also very goopy and slimy so do not use it on any fabric that will stain easily when removing with water. it's totally fine on cottons. because of the goopy density it really works well on top of velvet to ensure the pile doesn't get in the way of your designs and holds them very well structurally. If you're using it on any kind of silk it's only useful on washable prewashed fabrics. The goop can leave some nasty waterstaining otherwise except for chiffon. don't use it on silk charmeuse unless you want some nasty stain bleeding. I honestly wouldn't even want to find out what would happen after dry cleaning this stuff. However, it's fantastic on prewashed dupioni or shantung.

Great value!
I use this as a topper for machine embroidery and I won't buy any other brand! It's a great product for the price. It does it's job of keeping the stitching from getting lost in the product.

It's like tear away wash away in one, but not super sturdy
I am torn about my experience with this stabilizer (no pun intended). On the one hand, it was thinner and harder to hoop than other wash away stabilizers I have used. It's stretchy and thin, so getting it taught without warping is a challenge. The thing I liked about it was how easy it was to remove. I was surprised at how easily it tore away from the back of the embroidery after stitching was finished. It was like tear away stabilizer. To me, this is a nice bonus. There are some things I want to gift people without washing after embroidering and which have exposed wash away stabilizer (like t-shirts). As you can see in the photos, a two-layered jersey and terry cloth item I embroidered came out a little more puckered than it needed to, because of the stretchiness of the stabilizer. But the back looks great because there is no exposed stabilizer. I suppose you could play with this stuff to get it tighter in the hoop or perhaps use it with items that have less stretch and of course not items as heavy as this double layered one (jersey is probably not the best and if I were sewing the double-layered item myself, I'd embroider the top before assembling it with the back piece of fabric). I'm thinking this stuff would work great for the front face of machine embroidery over minky, terry cloth, and other high pile fabrics, to prevent the embroidery from sinking into the fabric. I would pair it with a firmer/less stretchy stabilizer on the back.

My favorite stabilizer for towels
This is my go to water soluble stabilizer for thicker embroidery jobs. Very easy to pin or hoop and stays put. Stitches come out looking great.

Wonderful for free standing lace designs on my embroidery machine.
This was my first time purchasing the wash-away stabilizer. I bought it to make some free standing lace ornaments with my embroidery machine. This is exactly what I needed and it works beautifully! It stands up to the heavy embroidery needed for the free standing lace designs and it washes away very well. I have already ordered another roll of it since my first one is over half gone already. I highly recommend this product. I have included a couple photos, one of an ornament just finished and still attached to the stabilizer. The other of two finished ornaments after the stabilizer was washed away.

The best!
This product works so well, and not only cheaper, but better than anything I can find locally. It tears off so easily which is another very strong feature. Highly recommend.

Ease of use
I was surprised that this product worked so well on my terry towels. I was using a bit of spray adhesive at first then discovered that the static worked just as well. The entire design did not have to be covered although it is important that the stabilizer falls over the edge of the hoop, otherwise it will get dragged into the needle. I know from experience then I had to wash the towels a few times to remove the stabilizer.
