Georgia Grinders, Almond Butter Salt Free, 12 Ounce

I read the reviews on this product, about how it tasted much better than most almond butters. I must admit that I was a big time skeptic. I have tried a number of them, and have not been pleased. For a long time, I have wanted an alternative to peanut butter, but most almond butters are not good tasting. Based on reviews, I decided to give this one a try. WOW!! I am so glad I did.I am blown away by how good this tastes. Peanut butter is not a true nut butter, and not the most healthy choice IMO. Now, I have found that alternative to say "goodbye" to peanut butter and "hello" to almond butter. I want to thank other reviewers for their input that caused me to step out and give this a try. Furthermore, I wanted to add my voice to the chorus of yeah sayers.

This is delicious and healthy; one of the best almond butters I have tried. I will reorder it. Just want to mention that it is more crunchy than smooth,with some harder bits of almonds in it, so if you prefer a smooth nut butter, this is not that. But the freshness and taste are superior, and it is priced well compared to more expensive options.

I thoroughly enjoyed the taste and texture (expected granular texture) of this almond butter HOWEVER THERE ARE ALMOND CHUNKS IN IT and I could not find that mentioned in any of the descriptions. If I wanted chunky, I would have purposely bought chunky, so only 4 stars. Perhaps the chunky has a lot more chunks in it, but I would like to know when purchasing that there are chunks in it.

I really like Georgia Grinders Pecan and Cashew butters but this one doesn't flip my switch--not sure why. I like almonds but this is pretty blase. That being said, it's great for adding protein to my smoothies/

This almond butter is delicious. Even without any sea salt added at all, the flavor is delicious. It has to be mixed just a little bit each time it's used, but the bottom is not all dried out as happens with many nut butters; it remains easy to spread all the time. And it has little pieces of almond throughout which gives it a little crunch. It's really good - my 5 year old granddaughter just loves it and specifically asks for this almond butter over other butters we may have (other brands of almond butter or sunflower seed butter). It's a big hit in this house!

I have severe food allergies and a tendency toward diabetes. I had to change my eating patterns and one of the suggestions given to me was to move to a good almond butter. Every single brand I tried was horrible--the flavor was bitter or they contained sugar or salt--both taboo to me. I found this almond butter on Amazon and figured, what the heck. It is SERIOUSLY the best i have ever tasted. I made a batch of puffed millet and almond butter "treats" and they are ten times more delicious than the ones I made with an inferior brand. If you're looking for a well-flavored, rich almond butter, look no further.

I find this gritty tasting rather than crunchy, which is what I aim for in almond butter. The oil does stir in better than other "natural" butters I've tried, but in addition to the grittiness it is very bland, and I won't buy this product again.The best crunchy almond butter In my opinion is Jif, yet Smucker's, the company that made it, states they don't have enough call for the crunchy and now only make creamy almond butter. I think they have other motives.I'm going to try grinding my own. If that doesn't work out then will return to Barney Butter. It is readily available and good tasting but sometimes the crunchy pieces of almond are actually sharp against my mouth.

The taste is stale. The product was changed from my first delivery and there is a noticeable taste difference. This is the second shipment that has been inferior. It’s also crunchy, not smooth which was originally ordered.
