Fun family activity! My kids are 4 & 10 both loved it! I bought this one bc it has two blocks so two kids can dig! The ohhh and excitement of digging themout was worth it! The gems and fossils we got were very cool! ❤️ Would definitely recommend as a gift or activity!

My daughter wanted a dig kit because her brother received one for his Birthday with sharks teeth and she thought it was amazing. We purchased her a small one from Walmart and she loved it. She used her birthday money to buy this particular one on Amazon a few days later. I thought it would be a better one, especially because it came with two different kind of kits. This one was WAY BETTER than the other 2 we had purchased. The fossils were interesting and fun because we didn’t know what we were going to get. The gem stone one exceeded our expectations. Usually they just throw some polished rocks in there, this one had a variety of different things and was so fun to try to figure out what they were in the included booklet. Both the boys wanted to help her find the gems and fossils. I plan to purchase this kit again when my middle son has his birthday.it kept them entertained for quite a while. Only downfall is it’s gets a little messy with all the dust, but it was worth it.

This is so cool and it made my 10YO and 8YO play together NICELY for over an hour. And they gifted me all the gems (so cute). However, this is definitely an activity you will want them to do outside. The box suggests in a box or tote inside. Unless you want to clean up dust for days, trust me, pick a nice outside day and send them to the yard!

The item is great! I really look forward to giving it to the child. I did, however have to spend a little over 15 minutes peeling off shipping labels and cleaning off adhesive glue that were plastered right over the picture on the front of the box. It was not shipped in a different box. The shipping label was an issue for me.

This was a birthday gift for my grandkids and they love them.

I bought these for my grandkids. They dug, chiseled and pounded the clay and found all the fossils and gems. They loved it. The geodes were a bit hard to crack and it was definitely an outdoor event. I used a throw away tablecloth and it really made the clean up easy. I bought another brand for one of the grandkids. This one was for sure the preferred one.

7 and 10 year olds loved this and had lots of fun with it. Crystals and fossils are neat and look as pictured.

The quality and amount of "treasures" was great for the money. The material was softer than most other mining kits that I have gotten. My kids really enjoyed being able to get so many things in a relatively short period of time. The downside of that is that they finished the kit in about 1/3 of the time. So they enjoyed it more, but it kept them occupied for less time.
