Fit like a glove and works perfectly. Also looks a lot nicer than my old register which was over 50 years old.

I used these to block off my upper wall cold air returns. What a difference after changing 7 of the returns. The upper return is great for summer but will cause you cold feet in the winter. I noted some people complained they worked hard, bent, were poor quality, etc. I simply held the frame and the damper in my hands and move it through full range about 50 times to scrap off the paint at the pivot points. After doing that they worked perfectly for me. Being winter I leave it open allowing cold air to be pulled off the floor and this coming summer I will close the blade damper and the existing high return will pull the hot air off the ceiling to be cooled by the central air conditioner. These were great, quick service and great price. Thanks for allowing me to make our house comfortable at a reasonable cost.

These were hard to find locally, and were probably available special order. These fit the bill and work, but the air damper does not swing as effortlessly as the ones that were installed when the house was built 40+ years ago.

The levers do not function properly and 4/5 I ordered arrived with paint damaged on them. The lever to open the vents bend the metal and most times they do not even open the vent entirely or even at all.

The service was good and so was the quality but I was unable to use it because it did not fit my ductwork.

The damper handle of this vent broke off before it was even on the wall. I got it out of the package tried to see how stiff the shut off was going to be on my way to put it on and the handle broke off. It was only tack welded in one tiny spot at the bottom of where the handle attaches to the damper door. My husband can weld and will fix this but very disappointed. I wanted to leave a review for those that wouldn’t be able to fix it. The vent came 10 days earlier than what shipping said so that is definitely a plus. The vent is of good thickness of metal and has a thick smooth coat of paint. Definitely a nice vent if the welding of the damper handle had been done properly.
