SO much better than the "magnetic paper" that you (try to!) put through your printer!
Great product! I had purchased actual magnetic paper somewhere, upon which the actual photo or picture could be printed (different than what this product is). I ended up having multiple problems with it - my printer HATED it - it jammed, the printer cartridges wouldn't move, and, to top it all, once I got things printed, they SMEARED - even after drying 24 or more hours! Finally, the magnetic quality of it was poor, it barely stuck to anything, and least of all, to itself!Wish I would have purchased this first, and saved time and headaches! THIS PRODUCT, is different, and GREAT! You print out or cut out and apply your picture to a sheet of this stuff after removing the protective sheet cover. The pieces are typewriter paper size, so what I actually did was to just print my photos on my printer (using regular printer or copy paper), apply them to one of the magnetic sheets, then cut around the photos/magnetic sheet together. THESE sheets, of course, didn't smear, because the picture was printed upon regular printer paper, THEN applied to the magnetic sheet. This product won't jam your printer, because it never GOES IN to the printer! Also, the "holding power" of its magnetization is better than the sheets that I had to force through my printer! Highly recommended!

Absolutely perfect for what I wanted
Absolutely perfect for what I wanted. I have a Big Shot & use framelits & thinlits that are always loose in their envelopes because the adhesive on the cardboard backings doesn't work after using them a couple times. My friend saw the suggestion of using magnetic paper for keeping them in place, so I ordered this product. By the way, this is NOT paper .... it's much thicker ........ about as thick as 3 sheets of cardstock. The way I used it is to adhere it to the original thin cardboard backings inside the framelits & thinlits envelopes. Some people just get rid of the cardboard, but I found that I used far less magnetic paper doing it my way because I could piece together 2 or 3 smaller pieces to fill the cardboard. And that is the reason I only used 1 pkg of magnetic paper instead of the THREE that I ordered! Oh, well. I'm sure I'll find other uses for it. By the way, another suggestion I came across is to cover the side of your cabinet or shelving or whatever, so you can just keep all your thinlits & framelits out in the open. I happen to prefer keeping them in the envelopes, but I think that's a neat idea.

Perfect for stickers.
I got this for 2 uses and it only worked exactly as I hoped for 1. First purpose was to put stickers on so I could put them on the fridge and not have them be permanent. Worked PERFECT for that! I didn't use the adhesive, I just stuck the stickers to the paper over the adhesive instead of trying to cut it perfect since I had irregular shaped stickers. I used regular scissors to cut them out, nothing fancy. I'm LOVING not having my stickers permanent! The other thing I was going to use it for was perler bead designs. The adhesive doesn't really stick to the beads, it stays on just enough to use it, but you can very easily pull it off. I was going to have some kids I babysit make perler bead designs then put them on the magnets, but I tried it on my own first and decided not to since they could easily pull it off the magnet and it was pretty difficult to cut around the beads.

since I could make them all myself relatively easily. The magnet is pretty thin
I was looking for an alternative to buttons to pass out at the finish line of a local charity event. I came across these and decided to go wih magents, since I could make them all myself relatively easily. The magnet is pretty thin, so I wouldn't expect it to actually hold much. But it does attract to magnetic surfaces quite nicely. One side is sticky, so you can stick whatever you want on it. I decided to print our design, laminate the paper and then cut it to stick on the magnet. This panned out to be a lot easier than I thought. The magnet stuck to the laminated paper beautifully. I also had a couple issues where my cutting didn't match up (my fault), and I could easily trim any extra magnet with a pair of normal school sissors. Great product! I actually already ordered more because we need a few more for our walk!

Gets the job done.
The directions say to cut the magnet and cardstock separately, then pair them up - this isn't so easy to do even with patience and a steady hand. Sometimes it works well and others - not so much. So I have been putting the cardstock on the magnet and then cutting, which works only if I set the blade to 10, double cut, and cut the same design 3x. Even then it's a little challenging to pop the magnets out of the sheet (less detail works better) BUT I get awesome magnets this way. It's not very strong magnet, but since I strictly make decorative magnets from my artwork, it does the job and my customers are very happy with the magnets they get.

Not strong enough to hold on the Disney Cruise cabin doors.
Cuts very cleanly in the Silhouette machine. But I bought this to apply to my cut outs to decorate our door for a Disney Cruise. Unfortunately, the magnet was not strong enough to hold onto our cabin door. I had to use other magnets to hold up the magnets I made with this paper. At home, the magnet worked well enough to hold on our steel exterior door. But since I bought them for use on the cruise, it didn't work out for me.

Works okay
The magnet is not as strong as I would have hoped, but it works well enough for decorative little fridge magnets. The sticky side of the paper is very sticky, so don't count on pulling anything off once you put it on. It's easy to cut with regular scissors; you don't need an Xacto knife or anything fancy.

Good Quality
So far I've used two sheets to stick to the side of my shelving unit to store some of my favorite dies that I use a lot. It sticks great and thankfully it looks like it will also peel off fine if I ever decide to take it down. It is strong enough to hold my dies which is what I really needed. Now I'm looking forward to playing with the rest of the sheets. Very nice product!

KEEP THEM FLAT. Great product!
This product was great overall! Durable sticky part, and yet flexible.Only disappointment was they were bent in the mail/delivery which resulted in the corner of each sheet being bent. I tried to keep them flat between books for a couple days with no luck. KEEP THEM FLAT.

Not all that magnetic
Only 4 in a pack. Kind of expensive. It’s my fault that I didn’t check how many were inside but I wouldn’t have bought if I realized it was only 4. Thin magnet. Not all that magnetic.

The sheets are thin so the magnets are not super strong, so it would not work well if ...
I used this to make save the date magnets for my wedding. They worked well for that purpose. The sheets are thin so the magnets are not super strong, so it would not work well if you were wanting to make small magnets to hold up papers on your fridge. Magnets need to be larger, or use multiples to hold up most things.
