Cuisinart 12 Inch Skillet with Glass Cover, Chef's Classic Collection, 722-30G

I recently replaced non-stick cookware with stainless steel and I am so pleased that I did. Cuisinart is well made and cooks evenly. Important: get used to heating the pan first, then adding the oil until hot before adding what you want to cook. Your pan will cook like a non-stick with all the advantages of stainless steel.

Great pan. Heavy, holds and distributes heat pretty well. Our favorite pan to cook steaks in.

I’ve had this pan for a couple years now. Great pan, I’d recommend looking up how to heat up stainless steel pans before cooking, if not done properly your food will stick, it was a bit of a learning curve for me. What Ive found that works is heating it on med , med-high heat for a min or so then turning down to med- low before adding oil, let that heat up then add your food. I’ve read a lot of others have had issues with the lid, I have had none with mine.

I cook a lot of different foods. This skillet is well made. However I have two issues that are not a game changer. If it wasn't for these two things I'd had given it 5 stars. 1. The handle is too narrow. This skillet is fairly heavy and it's hard to control when pouring grease or other liquids. I have large hands and a strong grip but it's still difficult. A wider handle would be nice. 2. Whenever I cook meat, there's a whitish, ashen residue that won't wash off. I guess this is typical of stainless steel cookware. Barkeeper's Friend cleanser takes it right off.

This is the only pan/skillet I own and I do lots of cooking. It is excellent and very high quality. The size is perfect as I can fit a large meal in there for 2 people, with plenty of leftovers. It is sturdy and the bottom ensures even cooking. The lid is fantastic too. I would imagine that this product will last a while, but I can't wait to buy another one when this one wears out. This is easily my most used kitchen item.

This is now my “GO TO PAN”! I have a set of Hexclad frying pans and I really liked them until the large frying pan began to show the Teflon was beginning to come off. Thought Hexclad was the answer to our problems but proved wrong. So we decided to purchase a stainless steel fry pan and Cuisinart was our choice as we’ve never had an issue with them. They also have great customer service support as well!! I will buy a set of these. Very easy to clean!

Cuisinart is usually a very good product or item, I purchased a 12 Stainless steel front pan with lid April 18, 2025, we had trouble with it with our first use. Our food stuck & burned, the pan very hard to clean, it has done that in the few months we’ve had it. I notified Cuisinart because the window had closed to return it. The first person I spoke to had no idea what she was talking about I gave her all of the product info, and she told me she would replace it, I told her I didn’t want it replaced there should be warranty I wanted a refund, she told me no refund . She then said she would replace mine, I would get a email in a few minutes, when I did it was a completely wrong pan 8” not 12”. She also told me it was out of stock, that was not true. I called back talk to another customer service person, he said he had no idea what she was talking about. He asked for inside and bottom photos, I sent them, again he said no refund. I did not want another pan with the same issue. The only way to resolve the issue was to replace it. I am not sure when I will receive the replacement. I am disappointed in the quality of the stainless steel, but more so in their willingness to refund my money. I do not want another defective frypan.

If your looking for a 12 inch Stainless Steel pan that also comes with a lid, it's very hard to go past Cuisinart's offering. Looks fantastic, cooks great and is easy to clean with minimal sticking. I have several pans similar to this but of different brands and this one wins hands down. Heats quickly and evenly for excellent even cooking. Doesn't help with cooking i know but also looks beautiful. If your in the market for a pan of similar specifications look no further then this pan.

Muy buen sartén, ya tengo 2 iguales

Es mi primera sartén de acero inoxidable y estoy enamorado de ella. Excelente relación calidad-precio. Funciona perfecto con estufa de inducción. Es una sartén grande y bien construida, con una tapa de vidrio fuerte. Hay que saberla usar para sacarle provecho; si tienes dudas, ve un tutorial en YouTube.

Hermoso

Si lo precalientas bien y utilizas la cantidad de aceite correcta no se pega nada. Quedan pequeños restos de comida, pero agregas agua caliente y limpias al momento y queda totalmente limpio. No acabado espejo, pero queda limpio. Calienta muy rápid, buena opción para dejar de usar teflón.
