This book is one of the best reads I've had in a long time. It speaks of the love and grace that the Father has for each of His children. It is well written and draws the reader in. A must read for any Christian

Bought this book for my own personal use. I have tried to put my past wrongs away many times and this book helped me to see myself in a better light. It showed me that Jesus would have seen me as important. That is all I need just now and I would recomend this book to anyone who feels 'not good enough'.

This book is superb, it opened my eyes and mind to a whole new way of thinking. As a fairly new Christian I was continuously striving to become better in all that I did, that in itself wasn't wrong, but feeling worthless every time I failed was a road heading to disaster. Now thanks too this book I know that God love's me as long as I truly love Him.However, Brennan does tend to use words that I needed a dictionary which can be a bit off-putting and could spoil the context of the information being given. Generally speaking, this book is well worth reading.

As a ragamufin myself I can relate to his writings. If your Christianity is easy and "normal" then you need to read this book to find more of how God sees you and how much love He has for you.

Reminds us wherever we are in life God's Grace is there if only we reach out to Him. Also an important message to the church that to shut anyone out is to shut out that same grace to them. I needed to hear this so badly. Recommend it to anyone searching for the real gospel or struggling with doubts and misery over their failures.

If you are fed up with church and want to understand a different approach to life. God and christian values them this old set of Cd's are freshingly helpful. Written by a Catholic priest who clearly understood human behaviour

Brennan provides a good look at the grace of God, and helps the reader take a good look at themselves in the light of it. A pastoral read, helping to apply the grace of God to our own lives afresh.

or buy the longhand version first then buy this. But I bought this first by error and was wonderfully surprised. I am now reading the longhand version.I loved this book, it struck home, it was visceral, real, genuine, lacking only in spiritual phoneyness.- it abounded in grace, like crazy. wonderful. I shall never forget this book.

This book is grounded in the “reckless Love” of God, who shamelessly falls over Godself to run toward us even when we have been the wasteful, sinful, prideful Prodigal…never even letting us get the words “I’m sorry” out before we are wrapped in parental love. It’s a comforting book full of of wisdom and gems. I’ll return to it often.

Beautifully written book for the lost, frustrated and bewildered soul.

I would like everyone to read this book. It brings a much needed message to all believers. God's love abounds. This book makes God sound awesome .....Because He is. I have given many copies away. Manning writes terrific books. You will understand God's love for you more fully after reading.

This is one of those rare books that was written about personal faith, without complication, threats, or eternal damnation. The simple message is that God loves us all even though we might be serial offenders to his word, and every time he will forgive and welcome us back.

Very refreshing look at the Gospel and what the "Good News" is all about !
