Tiffen 67BPM14 67mm Black Pro-Mist 1/4 Filter

Having bought directly from Amazon and not from an Amazon seller I was expecting much better. The filter box was not sealed and the glass had dirt, smudges and scratches on the surface. Obviously pre-owned or very poor quality controlI wish I paid more attention to the other reviews that mentioned similar issues.I decided to hold onto the filer instead of returning it as it's a nightmare to do that through Amazon. Once I gave it a thorough cleaning, it looked relatively ok, aside from the faint scratches (fortunately these were towards the edge).I ordered the 1/4 version and so far am pleased with the results on my A7iii/ Tamron 28-75 combo. Very nice blooming to the highlights during the day and at night the effect is slightly less subtle.If you are looking to buy this filter, I would advise looking elsewhere for your purchase.

Just received it yesterday and instantly noticed that it wasn't in any way secured, no tape or anything for transport. The case was all stratched up and once I opened the case I found that the actual filter seemed used. No scratches on it or anything but the glass has marks on it like grease from fingers touching it. It all seemed to come off with the whipe of a micro fibre cloth so I think it's okay.Still works and does what it says on the tin but would not recommend buying it off Amazon. I paid full price for a product that was essentially used.After I contacted Amazon they gave me a 15% discount which I think should have been more but I'll leave it at that. At least after getting some of my money back I didn't feel like I paid full price for a used product. If it wasn't for that discount I would be giving this a 1 star review not 3.

Es scheint als würde man B-Ware bekommen. Vor Jahren hatte ich mal einen defekten FLD bekommen, auch von Tiffen. Ich kann nicht einordnen wo tatsächlich die Schuld liegt. Es gibt ja nun einige Rezensionen dieser Filter bei denen scheinbar nicht einwandfreie Neuware verschickt wurde. Das kann durchaus am Hersteller liegen. Tatsächlich hatte ich noch nie einen problematischen B+W Filter von Amazon, als Gegenbeispiel. Im Endeffekt ist aber der Käufer derjenige, der es dann ausbaden muss. Und das ist ärgerlich. Werde auf Amazon keine Tiffen Filter mehr kaufen.Geht zurück.

Ich bin auf diese Filter aufmerksam geworden, als es mir in einem Video auf Youtube vorgeschlagen wurde.Der Effekt den dieser Filter hat, kann man am besten beschreiben mit denWorten: Cinematic, oder Filmlook. Stärkere Lichtquellen werden wunderbar soft, wie durch einen Diffusor. Allerdings leidet die Schärfe nicht merkbar darunter.Nicht nur für Vodeografen echt schön.Es verleiht meinen Fotos einen träumerischen, und klassischen Look.
