This particular bit worked great. I have purchased several Yonico bits and all have met my needs and have held up nicely. The price point is attractive and so far they have done everything a more expensive bit does.

These bits are top notch. I have more than 1000 of these bits and have used them a lot. They cut well and last as long as could be expected of any router bit. The key to extending the life of a router bit is having extra bearings , because you never know when they will go bad. Plus having a diamond credit card style sharpener if and when needed. The bits are plenty sharp for quite some use in the beginning but all blades eventually need a sharpening. Price is decent, way better than buying locally.

Very compact bit worked well with my Makita offset router base and it's limited height adjustment capability. (bit shank insertion is the only adjustment). I used it for cutting small rabbets in installed flooring. Very close quarters, saved me a lot of chisel work. I did not check the tightness of the collar set screw as I would normally do - oops. The set screw is about the diameter of a pin head and not much longer so you don't want to lose it. Mine fell out first use. It should be tightened at the factory but you should never assume that no matter what brand it is. If I manage to find a replacement set screw I will set it with loctite red. This bit is so compact the bearing and collar are very thin so don't expect it to be heavy duty. Do the math: 3/8" cut minus 1/4" shank divided by 2. Bearing is 1/16" thick. It appears to be a true sealed bearing with inner/outer races and balls or rollers. I ran it at low rpm / slow feed and had no problems.

Cheaply priced router bits. Yet not cheaply made. Personally I buy this brand on bits I don't use that much. Most of my day to day ones are Amana brand. Boo Coo bucks but imho the best. A great buy & packaging is impressive.

I bought these two router bits to use with a template to mount hinges on a new door and door frame. I tried the smaller one first, but it was too short. The longer bit worked much better and did the job. I was able to easily route 6 hinge door slots in quick time. I did make a quick template to use and the router bearings worked well. I also used a battery operated hand router which made the job even easier. Anyway, these bits worked just fine and they should be useful for many more projects.

I have now purchased several bits and bit sets from Yonico and I continue to be impressed with the quality for the money. Cut quality is excellent.

Sharp and perfectly executed the job as needed

The size is a useful size that's hard to find but I've got to give it 1 star for it's terrible bearings. I've ordered 3 of these trying to get through a project and the bearings fail within hours of use. Actual routing time per bit is maybe 20 to 30 minutes of use. I'm ordering some different bearings from another brand to hopefully make these useful. The bits have been used in pine with maybe a 1/4 inch bite per pass.

Vary satisfied with the performance of this router bit. I have used it to cut dados into the surface of a laminated kitchen worktop which it achieved with zero chip out of the laminate. Dado was made in several passes and was true and clean. Price even with postage from the US is very competitive and offers good value for the quality of these bits. Item arrived in very good time over a week before the earliest delivery due date. My only criticism is with this being a US company all bit measurements are in imperial which causes a bit of working round when working in metric. Overall very satisfied would recommend and will make further purchases of Yonico router bits.
