Mine has an expiration date, but the container says to 'discard 90 days after opening?

I'd be careful about using any eye drop past the expiration / 90 days after opening date. In 2020 I used some eye drops (not these specifically) that were not expired but had been open for about a year. I got a nasty eye infection and spent far more on treating that than a new bottle would cost.

I believe it says, ONCE OPENED DISPOSE AFTER 90 DAYS. Believe it's standard for all eye drops bc of bacteria in the air, the more the tip end is exposed, the more likely an infection can result. I've been long time users tho and use beyond the 90 days. I do not use if past expiration. I was sent the wrong kind! If it doesn't say GEL on it, then it's not the same. Lubricate does not mean gel. Won't let me do a return so I'm going to contact Amazon customer service bc it's not ok to say not returnable when they make error.

Does this help with itchy eyes?

I have very dry eyes and the eye drops work very well for it. My eyes do not itch whereas I cannot answer a question regarding itching. I hope there is an answer for you.

The label is not like the one online and does not say Optive. Reading the details on the bottle more closely, I now see it has a warning: 'To be sold by retail on the prescription of a Medical Practitioner only'. I was warned not to buy medicine online!
