They're comfortable, stylish, and budget-friendly, making them an unbeatable combo. They've turned my husband into a T-shirt enthusiast, and I have to say, I'm not complaining!

I ordered a two-pack of these Slim Fit t-shirts and a two-pack of the Regular Fit t-shirts to compare and contrast. Both styles are made of the same thick cotton knit fabric, which is soft and substantial, but the fits are definitely different. These Slim Fit shirts are significantly tighter fitting in the stomach, arms, and chest area(s). The Regular Fit shirts are much looser in all three of these areas, especially the arms.Compared to a Regular Fit I would categorize these as a Slim Fit not, a Snug Fit; they fit close to the body but not tightly enough to show something like muscle definition, if that's what you're looking for.For comparison, I would say that these Amazon Essentials Slim Fit t-shirts are tighter fitting than a standard Gap or Old Navy t-shirt fit but looser fitting than a standard American Apparel or H&M t-shirt fit.Overall the quality is nice, with minimal fading and only very minor shrinkage after laundering in cold water and putting in a medium dryer. Recommended if you like a close fitting, thick cotton t-shirt.

I've been purchasing and wearing Russell Athletic Pocket Tee shirts for many years. They're comfortable, they look good, the fit was right in every way. I needed some replacement tees early this year and couldn't find any of the Russells except at truly exorbitant prices and never in my size. I tried a couple of different shirts and was unhappy with them all, they were all the same price or higher as what I used to pay for Russells but the quality wasn't as good and the fit was never quite right.I read the reviews here, especially the review by "Shea" who favorably compared this Amazon Essentials-brand pocket tee to the Russell. So I bought a couple to try them out.They look good, are comfortable, the pocket is fine, construction looks good. The length of the sleeves is perfect, fit around chest and gut are perfect; but the collar is wider and the tails are longer than the Russells, these shirts could lose 2 inches from the tails (the length of the waist) and at least 1 inch of circumference around the neck. Maybe I should try one size smaller? Maybe but I'm afraid the sleeve length would be too short for me.They wash up well and dry in the dryer without trouble (unlike some other shirts I tried which took forever to dry). They seem to be shedding a lot of lint in the dryer, though – I hope that doesn't mean they are going to wear out fast.So: As good as my Russells? No. Better than any other short-sleeve pocket tee in this price range that I've tried? Yes. And since the Russells seem to be gone for good, I bought more of these shirts. They're not perfect but I guess they just don't make 'em like they used to, or in the case of the Russell Athletic Pocket Tee, they don't make 'em at all anymore.
