Gorgeous doll dress! The veil definitely does not fit an 18" American Girl doll. It has no elasticity to go around the dolls head. I secured with bobby pins and it served the purpose, more looking like a crown. My daughter loves it! It also came with a beautiful little pearl necklace that we weren't expecting.
