Comfortable vest. Keeps you warm. Made very well and is durable. Fits true to size. Not too heavy, but has some weight to it. Definitely recommend.

Great Carhartt quality we’ve come to love and expect. Nice thick Sherpa lining on the inside with good weight. Not to for but not to cold and blocks wind well. It’s a vest, it’s very versatile. I sized down 1 size to a large and that was the right choice to make. We all know how big some Carhartt gear runs while other Carhartt gear, not so much. This gear runs very big. I highly recommend sizing down. I wore 3 layers under it fine and it was still a nice perfect fit. My favorite part of this Vest is how well it helps me regulate my body temperature. Keeping my core warm, but allowing my arms to breathe through the hoodie and other layers I am wearing underneath the vest just sets me up to have a great day. The vest is very functional and does exactly what it’s supposed to do… be a vest. I’m not sure if it’s waterproof because I don’t think it’s listed as waterproof but Carhartt does have a level of water resistance. It seems like.

I am 5'-6" and stocky....you know...beer belly. I bought the Medium size "Carhartt Men's Loose Fit Washed Duck Sherpa-Lined Mock-Neck Vest". It fits over my hoody, which is what I had hoped for. I had one of these 15 years ago, but lost it. The canvas exterior is tough, the interior lining is warm. I work in an open ware house, so when its 18 degrees out side, its 18 degrees where I work. This should help me endure cold winters, this year and many more. Metal zipper. Save up some money and buy one.

The fit was perfect, great quality, and very warm for cooler weather.

Well made nice looking vest. Very warm and wind resistant. I usually buy extra large coats. Bought this in a large as carhartt usually runs a little bigger. It has plenty of room to put over a Carhartt hoodie.

Nice and warm. The only issue we had was th zipper. It’s at an odd angle and makes it a little difficult to zip up

This is the third of these vests that I've purchased. They're truly great. I am a huge fan of Carhartt; sherpa lining; and high, snug collars. Living in the foothills of the Adirondacks ranges from chilly to brutally cold. While I don't wear this vest in the dead of winter (sleeves are required with every layer) it is great for the shoulder seasons and for cool summer nights. This is crafted in the typical Carhartt style. The exterior canvas duck fabric is tough and the zipper works reliably. It's not sleek or form fitting. It is thick and substantial - great when that's what is needed. It is suitable for casual times and for when you're really working hard and leaning into things. One of my vests is reserved for "nice" situations while the others are receiving abuse (and loving it). I am sure I will purchase yet another Carhartt mock-neck vest one day.

I am always satisfied with carharrt products. This vest is warm and durable. Runs a little large side as I wear XL loose fit carhartt hoodies but a L vest fits perfectly.
