Fun project with kids
Although I feel it’s best suited for 8+ year olds, my 6 & 3 yo loved it! Finished balls were colorful and had good bounce. It takes time to make them and definitely need adult assistance. The molds are very difficult to keep closed. But overall a fun project.

Molds very difficult to put together
The process itself is quite simple with one major problem: I could not put the molds together! For one, they are made of thin cheap feeling plastic and I was afraid if I put too much pressure on them, they'd break! Fortunately my husband was able to do the job so that my daughter could create her first two. Also, FYI, the kit says it makes 24 balls but, although there are 24 packets of crystals, I only used ~1.5 packets to make the first 2 balls. Here's to hoping the molds hold up. Also, there was no way the balls were ready in 40 minutes of dry time. They were much better after several hours, but we waited overnight for good measure. They do bounce, but not very high (I find this a good thing actually, so that hopefully they don't get lost). Like another reviewer, I also found them to be quite small, although comparable to a ball you'd get in one of those toy machines you put quarters in.

Toxic and Illegal US toy
On toxicity: Product box claims that it contains chemicals that are harmful if swallowed and that could cause moderate skin irritation. Box directs that you need to follow the individual packaging in case of poisoning. Individual packaging is blank. So, if you get poisoned you will have to be treated for a unknown chemical, which delays proper treatment that could have come with appropriate warnings. The product itself: It just kinda sucks. The "tennis ball size" mold (in review picture) is maybe 60% the size of a tennis ball and the molds have these huge spikes that create holes and make it difficult to remove from the mold without damaging it. Directions tell you to fill the mold 90% of the way and when the crystals settle during melting you're left with a huge void at the top where there should be bouncy ball poison. Avoid this 0-star product at all costs until Amazon is able to remove it from their listings.
