Worked great with my 5301EL1001H heating element
LG Dryer, about 12+ YO, that was working fine except it was not generating heat on any dry cycle. After basic external troubleshooting, I took it apart and found the hot prong to thermostat burned off. I replaced the OEM thermostat with this one, but still not heat. So next I replaced the OEM fuse with the fuse in this kit and it worked! It's about 3 weeks later and still working/heating as it did before. (We run our dryer multiple times a day, too.) Compatible with a 5301EL1001H heating element that has the 2-prong neutral (white) thermostat as depicted in the item's picture.

You do not need to take the whole dryer apart!
My LG suddenly stopped heating. This $8 dollar option seemed much cheaper, and easier, than trying to replace the heating element. After replacing both parts contained on the order, I am back and running. Most videos on YouTube show taking the whole dryer apart. I was unwilling to go through that many steps. If you tip the dryer forward, and remove the pipe coming from the back (1 screw), that gave me plenty of room. Remove the plastic things on the side as well and I put a headlamp inside the bottom of the dryer for a little light. I used a ratcheting screwdriver with an extension and it didn’t take too long….maybe an hour total to replace and re-hook up the driver vent hose.

Fixed LG DLEY1201W Dryer Not Heating
My LG DLEY1201W dryer stopped heating abruptly after 8 1/2 years of faithful service. Countless youtube videos and reddit posts pointed to the Thermal Fuse and Thermostat being the most likely culprits. I tried accessing the thermal fuse and thermostat from the rear of the dryer after removing the air duct from the dryer, but the dryer drum is situated too close to the top screw of the thermal fuse and thermostat and I was unable to remove either of them this way. I had to completely disassemble the dyer, drum and all, to access these two parts. It's not as scary as it may look, take your time, and put screws from each section of the dryer into a marked plastic bag (IE: back, top, front, etc.) and you will be fine. Using a voltmeter I confirmed the heating elements were fine, and the culprit was indeed the thermal fuse. I replaced both the thermal fuse and thermostat at the same time. Also gave the dryer a good vacuuming due to all the lint and dust that had accumulated over the years. After installing the two new parts and reassembling the dryer it fired right up and was heating perfectly. I can't speak for the longevity of the thermal fuse and thermostat, but they did end up fixing my non-heating LG DLEY1201W dryer.

Does the job
My LG DLE5001W had no heat. I'm embarrassed to say that my ~20 feet of exhaust vent had 18 1/2 years worth of lint built up. After clearing that out and seeing that my thermistor seemed to be reading the correct temperature, I ordered this combo. While removing the original parts, I found that the thermal fuse did not have continuity while the thermostat did. After replacing both parts, I went through the diagnostic tests. While running the first element, the temperature started climbing again. With both elements running, the temperature started climbing faster. Everything is working now. Hopefully the new parts last, but so far I feel good about spending $11 instead of buying a new dryer. 1/20/24 edit: I'm taking off a star because I had to replace these again just under a year later. I ended up buying the exact same ones as a replacement because of the price and the fact that I could get them delivered the next day. 1/21/25 edit: My second set lasted a year and two months. This time I bought a different brand that hopefully will last longer.

Works fine in an LG DLEX3370W
I watched a YouTube video, took our dryer apart (there were some extra steps due to ours having a drawer for adding water to steam), and found that our thermal fuse had blown (checked with a DMM - impedance was infinite). Once inside it's easy to replace these parts, but there was zero chance of doing that without taking apart the entire dryer (even the drum came out). Unfortunately there is no way to get to these in an LG DLEX3370W without this near total disassembly. They're right in the middle under the drum. The parts sent were exactly what we needed. Be sure to clean everything to minimize the chance of it happening again soon. While I had the dryer apart, I just replaced the three parts I'd purchased from Amazon (they all work fine and easy to do - once it's all apart). Also verified that the heating element was fine (showed about 20 ohms between leads). If you do this, I'd recommend that you be very careful to label the screws at each step as you go (there are a LOT), take photos of everything before you disassemble it, and allow time to stay organized. That made putting it all back together a lot easier.

exact fit for LG
Odered on day 1 and delivered next day. I highly recommend this item. It fits the LG DLEX2650W dryer perfectly. Not easy to install which is because of LG design, any replacement would have the same issue. I ended up laying the dryer face down on a rug which made access easier to switch out both pieces. Remove the air exhaust pipe for access. My problem was that the screws are not easy to reach, and they were very tight. I removed the bottom round plate on the dryer, that has to be tapped out with screwdriver and hammer, but this made access so much better. You really need to be able to reach inside through one hole and the other hole lets you see what you are doing. Caution, be very careful not to drop the screws when removing and replacing, they will be very difficult to retrieve. I attached the wires outside the cabinet then pushed the assembled parts back inside and screwed in place. Can't speak to longevity, only been 3 days.
