Excellent for dachshunds. I never use a leash. This harness is nice and soft all the way around without any bulky clips rubbing or poking my pup. Secure Velcro and clip on top with rings for leash attachment and tags. Perfect design, sturdy, washable breathable material. Excellent value.

I bought a red and a light blue harness I for my 2 Chihuahua mixes that are between 20 and 25 pounds each and a size large fit perfect.It went on my dogs easy and they look very comfortable in them..Good quality and adjusted with Velcro and then locked with clips. I’m very happy with this product.The color is very nice too

This harness is perfect for small dogs, particularly ones who don't exactly enjoy being put into one. With a velcro closure and a single clip for the leash, it's much easier to put on than harnesses with multiple straps. I lay it flat on the floor, set my little guy down with his front paws in the openings, and cinch him in before he knows it. I love that it's soft and breathable, the thickness is perfect (although don't count on it for warmth, as it's not designed for that), and although Bear doesn't care about fashion it's great that it comes in so many colors and looks snappy. If there's a drawback it's that you don't have as many options for adjusting the fit as you do with strap harnesses, but I've used it on multiple dogs of varying sizes and shapes, and it's always worked well, so that's a minor issue for me. None of them have slipped out of it, or even tried, so I can't comment on that, but I like the positioning of the closure and leash ring, which minimizes stress on the chest/neck for dogs who might be pullers. Size estimates are correct, and the design accommodates size differences within each range, so measure your wee beastie and order accordingly. They wash up easily when needed, and the price is (at least at the time of purchase) reasonable for what you get, so you can have multiple ones on hand.

ALMOST perfect for my 25-lb Jack Russel mix. It fits around her chest exactly like I wanted but kind of gaps around her shoulders. She's hard to fit & the XL is almost too big but I'm going to keep it because it's lots better than what she used to wear.

Fits my girl perfectly. She's a chiweenie and I ordered a small. Just make sure the tag is facing the frontside of your dog on the outside, or else it will fit awkward (I did that the first time 😅). It's a great fit. Nice and secure, comfortable, super cute! Fabric is thick and strong enough. My girl likes to pump the breaks a lot so I end up stopping in place a lot and she'll try to pull but she doesn't get far. She's not getting anywhere with this harness!

This is the best harness if you have an escape artist dog like mine! First off let me start by saying my dog has a very good life. She has a massive (fenced in) yard to run in, endless toys, home cooked food, a bougie vet, free range of my house 24/7, and can let herself in and out while I am at home whenever she wants, as well as so many more perks its ridiculous. So I cannot understand why my dog tries to escape at every chance she gets. I cannot tell you how many times I have chased after her down the road, into a corn field, into my neighbors yards, and so on. She chews through fabric leashes, slips out of harnesses, squeezes through gates, climbs over chainlink fences, parkours over walls, digs under walls... you name it... she will do it. My neighbors call her houdini for obvious reasons. This is the ONLY thing that actually keeps my dog with me! It definitely gives me comfort when she wears hers, it feels secure, there is still room for her to move about comfortably, and the triple lock gives me so much peace of mind. She was about a year old in this photo, and now she is 3, so she is a grown woman and needs to size up from a small to a medium. I have tried other harnesses but they simply do not live up to what this one can do. Not having the anxiety of her potentially escaping is well worth the money I paid for this harness. Thank you for such a solid and secure bra for my babe.

I received the thing and notice the quality, stitches, finishing, materials are top notch. A good harness doesn't have to be all bells and whistles. Happy.

My dog is an escape artist and this particular harness, while a snug fit, has so far proven effective at keeping him and while it seems snug, he seems to be very happy to wear it all day, so I can just leash him up and go. This works especially well because it is a step in type harness and he usually does not like putting them on, so once a day does it.
