Q: will this attachment work on the first tactical scorpion knife?

I am not familiar with that specific knife, I would think it would depend on the measurements of your sheath. This clip is 2” wide the mounting holes are about 3/4” apart. It’s about 3 1/4” long. Hope this helps you.

Yes. It worked on my knife sheath

Q: Will this unit work on a secure-x from a cold steel chaos double edge trench knife? the tek-lok is too small, the holes won't reach the sheaths holes

If the holes are about an inch or two apart, this unit should work. I've thrown a few different holsters on this. On the other hand I don't know how big your sheath is so I couldn't tell you if the screws provided will reach far enough. Edumacated guess, it WILL fit unless your sheath is huge, and you may have to angle the sheath slightly forwards or backwards if you end up needing space between holes. Example: Instead of using the 2 top row "shoulder" holes in a standard vertical orientation you may end up using the top left and the middle right, or the top left and bottom right hole
