Saved the day - Perfect fit for Maytag MED7000 Dryer
My Maytag dryer door suddenly started to droop and not close properly - on closer inspection I could see the door hinge was cracked. I've heard its almost impossible to get an appliance service tech and costs are ridiculous. This was an easy DIY fix and saved a lot of time and money - perfect fit and it feels like new!

Easy fix for sagging door
If you have a sagging washing or dryer machine door, it means that at least one of the four support pins has broken off the hinge, Replace it soon or it will get worse. Mine was hanging by only one pins forcing me to look for this fix. This is a generic, not original part. I cannot speak to the durability of the generic part, but the old one lasted almost ten years. If you are sure of the part number, the grneric was a perfect fit.The fix is easy, just take time. It can help to have someone support the door for you while you unscrew it from the washer. There are three types of screws. all Torx. One type holds the hinge to the dryer. Hand screw them a couple of twists back into the washer panel after you remove the door to keep track of them.Lay the door face down on a towel and give yourself some space. Remove the screws from the inside panel. Mine had a hidden screw under the plastic door lastch, it just prys up gently at one end and you can get to the last hidden screw. Lift off the panel and flip it over.Remove the hinge plate cover (different screw). There are four plastic bushings that cover the hinge pins. They range from $10 to $20 each (!) and you won't know if you need them until you get to this point. I took the gamble, and mine were all fine. I recommend you do the same.Reassemble. I took a few pics along the way to assist with the reassembly - this is never a bad idea.Put the door back on. Mine is more solid and stable feeling than it has been for a few years, which tells me that at least one of the pins was broken a long time ago. I suspect that once your door is sagging, the sooner you get to this fix the better the odds the hinge pin bushings will be all re-usable.This fix saved a few hundred in onsite repair bills. Happy DIY!

Good value
Saved me a lot of money buying this. Wasn't that hard to install and it's smooth. Doesn't come with the plastic caps on the hinge so be aware of that if they are damaged. Only one of mine were iffy and I used bike chain wax lube, it doesn't run since it dries completely

Perfect fit
This was an exact match of my original hinge on my Maytag Maximum. The pins had broken on my hinge and this worked perfectly.
