Love it!
Ok, so first off, this pedal is great once it’s installed. I’ve always found myself wishing there was a raised dead pedal in my Jeep and this was a cool option for a decent price. The only bad part is that this ships to you without any directions so you’re left to figure it out which isn’t too hard.As far as tools you will need, a socket wrench with a 10mm socket and 13mm deep socket, socket extension (to clear the brake pedal) and a hex key. I would suggest assembling the pedal outside of the vehicle as it’s very tight to fit tools in some spots once it’s in the vehicle. Using the 13mm deep socket remove the nut seen shown in the product photos near the brake pedal, place the assembled product on and using the extension and 13mm socket tighten the brake pedal down. As for the assembly of the pedal, it’s pretty straight forward, just make sure the “u” plate is facing the floor as it acts as a bumper of sorts. The foot plate can be mounted in different spots depending on driver preference. Use the hex key and 10mm socket to tighten the 4 provided nuts and bolts.I’m not the greatest at writing directions but hopefully this will help any future buyers. I definitely recommend this pedal as it looks really cool!

Does the job
UPDATE: I ended up removing this after a few trips because it's very uncomfortable. I'm 6ft tall and felt I lost quite a bit of leg room. I'm not removing any stars because it is designed properly, just not a good fit for my height.Solid product, good price. Honestly couldn't see spending over $70 for some of the more well known brands.Highly recommended. My recommendation for the install: bolt it together before you mount it to the jeep. I did have to bend the mounting bracket a little bit for a better angle.

Nice
This is not as nice as the Quadratrack dead pedal but I picked it up because that one was sold out for months. It serves it's purpose and is actually quite nice. I have not replaced it because it's working fine.

Easy to put together, looks great.
If your looking for a good foot rest for your Jeep Wrangler JL, this may be the product for you. It is easy to assemble, perfect foot rest angle. The only problem I had was taking the nut off the Jeep. You install it directly to an existing bolt on the Jeep. Style meets functionality with this product, I highly recommend it.

Foot rest Jeep Gladiator
I installed this Dead Pedal on my 2021 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon. Fit was good and so far feels much more comfortable than without it.Well built and heavy duty steel.

Does not fit 4xe!!!!
They need to put that it does not fit right at the beginning. I clicked buy now and the not fitting 4xe part was not visible when scrolling. Now since I didn’t install right away due to weather it’s too late to return. Extremely annoyed.

2022 JT "dead" pedal foot rest doesn't fit as described on this model jeep
Had to cut off mount bracket and drill a new hole off-center to allow use of lower factory mount bolt. The mount bolt as intended by instructions is counter sunk in thermoplastic and completely unusable as directions stated. Once "adjusted / modified" the foot rest works fine. Not sure which years or models it fits without mods but definitely won't just bolt in to a 2022 JT. Overall since I have done many mods thru the years, this one is fairly easy and I am satisfied with product.

Comfortable in 2024 Rubicon JL
There is an OEM strap inside the door for removing the door that is a little annoying. But most foot positions avoid it.
